Kane made his way through the small crowd of slaves huddled in the ship, to get close to the girl he had saw. When he got close to her he asked, "Hey, umm, what's your name?" "Alyssa." She responded, "That's a nice name, my name is Kane."
"That's a nice name too. Where are you from Kane?"
"I'm from Earth. Not too long ago, the Kaizarr came to my family's home in Annandale Tennessee, and they captured me and my younger sister and killed my parents and older brother."
"Oh my, I'm very sorry to hear about that. As you may know, I come from Neptune. When I was young, I lived in Arizona on Earth. My parents were astronauts, and one day they had to take me with them on one of their missions, because I'm an only child and there was no one to watch me. During that mission our spaceship malfunctioned while we were going past Neptune, we crash landed but I was the only one who survived."
Kane was shocked after hearing of Alyssa's tragic past.
"Well, if anything, I should be the one to feel sorry for what's all happened to you." Kane told her.
"Thank you for your concern, I'm glad to know there's someone who seems trustworthy here." Alyssa replied.
"Hey! Slaves! We're almost to the mining depot! So get ready for the worst time of your miserable lives! Hahahahahahahah!" Shouted the Pilot of the slave ship.
The ship pulled into orbit of Planet Xychros, a planet rich in many different ore, which the Kaizarr has taken control of in order to get many resources to construct their weapons of war. The ship slowly landed at the entrance to one of the many mines.
The back of the ship opened up and one of the Kaizarr soldiers told everyone, "Alright you worthless scum, when you get into the mine you all will stay there forever. You will work in the mine, you will sleep in the mine, you will eat in the mine, you will do everything in the mine, got it?" The soldiers guided the slaves into the mine and informed them, "Pick up a pickaxe and hack away at any ore and other resources you see, and dont worry if it takes you a long time, you have all the time in the world! Hahaha!" Kane thought to himself, "I can't be stuck here forever, I need to find my sister, I need to destroy these Kaizarr scum, what their doing is completely unforgivable. I can't let them get away with killing my family and so many innocent people. That's it! Ive gotta work out a plan to get outta here, and quick! Maybe Alyssa will be willing to work with me to escape, and I'm positive that theres at least one other person here who wants to escape just much as me." Kane worked out a plan in his head as he worked, he planned it out for hours. He just needs to find a way to tell Alyssa about it, and he needs to find someone else who wants to join with them. He looked all around him, to his right, to his left, all directions. He noticed a guy close to him who was hacking away at the stone. When the guard wasn't looking, Kane made his way over to the guy and said, "Hey man, would you like to get out of here?"
"Woah, dude, are you serious? Of course I would!" He replied. "Ok great. I've worked out a plan to escape this dump, but we just need to find a girl named Alyssa, she's someone I trust who will escape with us." Kane told him. "Well alright, can do, the name's Reiner by the way, what's yours?" "I'm Kane, Kane Watsuki. Nice to meet you Reiner." "Nice to meet you to Kane. Now let's get started looking for Alyssa." They carefully made their way around the mine, while avoiding guards, looking for Alyssa. They eventually found her after a while of searching. Kane walked up to her and said, "Hey Alyssa! I finally found you!" "Kane is that you? It is you!" She replied. "Alyssa, I've worked out a plan for us to escape this place, I found another person who wants to escape too, so I figured he can join us, but the plan will only work if all three of us work together." Kane told her. "Ok, anything to get out of here. Nice to meet you mister, I'm Alyssa." "Nice to meet you to, I'm Reiner." Reiner said.
"Alright, I think we're ready to get out of here. So here's the plan, I've worked out that there are a total of 6 armed guards and 4 unarmed guards down here, so basically what we're going to do is, when no guards are over by us, we will make a run for the exit to the mine and escape in one of the ships."
"What! Are you serious?! That's the plan!?" Alyssa and Reiner exclaimed.
"I'm very serious. Trust me, this will work."
