Chapter 20 Finale

Dromca and Aria came across alot of enemies the way they went.
Aria was able to take out big groups of them with her Scythe, and Dromca used his Naginata spear to pierce through multiple targets.
Soldier after soldier approached and hoarded them, until they were completely surrounded. They were in a big open room, with many soldiers crowding around them.
"What are we going to do?! They have us surrounded!" Aria cried out.
"Hey, leave this to me." Dromca replied.
Dromca used his Naginata's electric powers, to make a chain lighting attack which zapped each soldier, one after the other.
"Phew, you sure got us out of that mess. Now we've gotta find the Emperor, wherever he is!" Aria stated.
So they continued going around the Base, searching for the throne room.

Meanwhile back with Kane and Alyssa,

"Kane Watsuki, I've been waiting for you." Vorkalth sneered with an evil grin.
"How do you know my name?" Kane asked.
"I've sent spies to gather intel on the escaped slaves, so I've known all about your plan to take us out. This is where it all ends for you. Any minute now my scientists will have the Rift open!" Vorkalth replied, evily.
"Come on Hiko! Let's take him on!" Kane yelled.
"Of course!" Hiko yelled back!
"Kane look out!" Alyssa yelled, as Vorkalth shot out a magic projectile towards Kane. Kane defended himself by using his Falchion to fire a fireball at the projectile. Kane then followed up with a slash from his sword, while it was encased in fire.
Hiko then began launching his Kusarigama at different parts of Vorkalth's body. It hit his head, and got stabbed into his neck, and he let out a huge, "OWWWW!!!"
"You're really starting to get on my nerves!" Vorkalth screamed, as he knocked his arm into Hiko, launching him into the wall.
"Hiko!" Kane and Alyssa cried out, as his body fell onto the ground.
Vorkalth then approached Hiko's body, put his foot on him, and began charging a powerful magic attack.
"Any last words, boy?! Before I blast you into Oblivion?!" Vorkalth exclaimed.
"Kane, Alyssa, I'm sorry, I was too arrogant. It's the end for me now guys, defeat the Kaizarr. Do it for me." Hiko muttered out. Vorkalth then unleashed his attack into Hiko. When the magic made contact with his body, it began to vaporize, until all that was left of him was ash, and his weapon.
"Hiko! Noo!" Alyssa yelled, as she began to cry for the loss of a friend.
Kane turned towards Vorkalth.
"You! You'll pay for what you did to him!" Kane screamed, as he began charging at Vorkalth.
Just then, a wall opened up in the lab, revealing another room.
A scientist in there said to Vorkalth, "Your Majesty! The Interdimensional Rift is now open! You have 45 seconds to enter before it closes again!"
"Not now! Can't you see I'm fighting this nuisance?!" Vorkalth screamed.
Kane then jumped into Vorkalth while charging, and knocked him and Vorkalth into the Rift.
"Kane!" Alyss proclaimed, as she started crying even more.
The Rift then closed behind them.
Dromca and Aria ran into the room, and saw Alyssa crying.
"Come on Alyssa! We've already set this place to exploded in a few minutes! And we've contacted Reina to come and pick us up! We've gotta go now!" Aria yelled.
Dromca grabbed Alyssa, and they all jumped out the window of the lab. As they were falling, their ship came underneath them, opened up, and they fell inside, as the Kaizarr's Base blew up into a firey explosion.
"Alyssa, where is my brother? Fill us in on what happened in there." Reina asked.
So Alyssa told everyone of what happened. Everyone was saddened by hearing what happened to their friends.
"What will we do now? Hiko is dead. And Kane is gone. But the Kaizarr are all mostly gone now. Without the Emperor, the others will all slowly die out. But that can't make up for the losses we now have." Aria exclaimed.
"Big brother. Your gone now. And just when I got you back." Reina said as she began crying.
Alyssa told her,"Don't worry Reina, we'll get Kane back. We have to."
