Chapter 12

"Nice to meet you. I'm Aria." The lady said to Hiko.
"Um, it's nice to meet you too, Aria. I'm Hiko." Hiko replied.
"Ah! I see you have met my daughter." Said the man that saved Hiko.
"Oh, and I forgot to introduce myself,
the name's Todd."
Hiko looked around the house, it looked like a pretty standard home. Although it didn't really fit in with the jungle wilderness that's outside.
"So where am I exactly?" Hiko asked.
"Well this is Planet Junglora. It's widely known for it's vast jungles and rainforests, spanning far across the planet." Todd responded.
"What do you guys do around here?" Hiko asked.
"I go around hunting all the critters I can find." Todd answered.
"And I help out around the house, cleaning, repairs, and technical work." Aria added in.
"Oh! My mystery nuggets will be done soon. You have to try some!" Todd excitedly exclaimed.
As Todd left the room, Hiko began hearing a voice in his head. It was Melman trying to tell him something.
"Hey, that girl over there. She's a chosen Hero of a sacred weapon. I just know it." Melman told him.
"What? Seriously? How do you expect me to just take away some man's daughter from him?" Hiko asked.
"I'll let you figure that out yourself." Melman answered as he ended the communications.
"Geez. Figures he'd leave me to this alone." Hiko told himself.
"So where are you from?" Aria asked him.
"Um, well I was last on Neptune, and before that I met some kind of Sage at an ancient Temple." Hiko replied.
"Sounds like you have quite the exciting life then." Aria said.
"Alright everyone, here's the nuggets!" Todd shouted.
Todd set down a plate on the table. On the plate was a ton of mystery nuggets in a huge pile. Hiko grabbed one and asked, "Hey what's in these things?"
"Oh, they are filled with any meat I could dig out of the dumpster and random assorted meats from critters I've killed. And with a nice, crisp breading to add a crunch." Todd replied.
Hiko ate one and thought it was actually pretty good. As good as something made with dumpster meat can be at least. Hiko thought about what he needed to tell Todd.
"So um, I need to tell you something Todd." Hiko told him.
"Sure, what is it?" Todd asked.
"It's about your daughter. She's one of the next chosen Heroes of the Sacred Weapons. So I need her to come with me and help save the world from the Kaizarr Empire."
"Oh, well that's alot to ask of a father. But I suppose Aria is old enough to decide for herself though. What do you think Aria?" Todd asked.
"Oh, Um, Well, can you give me time to think about it? At least until tomorrow morning?" Aria nervously asked Hiko.
"I guess that's alright. I'm not in any hurry so I can stay the night then." Hiko responded. That night Aria sat in her room thinking about that decision she must make. She thought about the life she's been living at her home with her father. But the she thought about the evil Kaizarr. If they were really as bad as she's heard, then they might come to her home. Then her nice life with her Dad would come to an end.
She finally decided that she will go with Hiko, to protect the life she loves.
Aria then laid down in her bed to sleep. Soon after everyone at the house was asleep. The next morning after breakfast, Hiko asked Aria, "Have you decided on what you want to do?"
"Yes. I will go with you." She answered.
"Alright let's go then." Hiko said.
"I'm not going to stop you Aria, you are going to save the world from evil after all. And this is your decision." Todd said as he started to cry.
"Bye Dad, I'll see you after the Kaizarr are dead!" Aria told him.
"Bye sweetie. See you then." Todd sniffled.
Hiko and Aria left the house and made their away into the jungle.
After they got pretty deep into the jungle, Aria asked, "So where do we need to go?"
"You'll see shortly." Hiko responded.
Hiko used his mind to send a message to Melman. "Ok. I've got her now. Can you bring me back to the temple?"
Suddenly, they were enveloped in a bright light. Then they started spiraling and shrinking, until the disappeared with the sound of a pop. Then they appeared at the temple in front of Melman.
"Ah you're finally back. And you've brought the next Hero, this lovely maiden." Melman stated.
"Aren't you a little old to be hitting on girls?" Hiko asked.
"Bah, I'm still in my prime. Anyways now we just need to wait for Kane and Alyssa to get back."
"Any idea when they'll get back?" Hiko asked.
"Who knows." Melman replied. Immediately after his response, they felt a big rumble, and heard a loud BOOM!
"That doesn't sound good at all." Hiko proclaimed.
"What was that?!" Aria shouted. Melman replied, "It's the Kaizarr. They must be trying to attack again."
