I walked to the car as I recited the lyrics that always haunted me when I was around Hannah and Caleb.Everyone was ready to leave and we got settled and drove home.

I have Questions.

  The line "staring at the wall" shows how emotionally empty she was after the end of the relationship she had with the person this song is about.

 Ali talking about someone who has betrayed her. She is perplexed as she gave the person everything she could and yet suffered from disloyalty. She hasn't heard from this person in a while, so assumes that the person has disassociated itself with her, for an unknown reason. She was with the person at ups and downs, and now the individual is gone – she feels lonely.

  The subject of the song was someone Ali previously trusted to a high degree, shown in the lines the Pre-Chorus: "I gave you all of me. My blood, my sweat, my heart, and my tears." This verse echoes the lines previous sung about hurt and mistrust. This person betrayed Ali, and now they are someone she is afraid of due to the destruction they caused.

I smiled at the song I had written before tearing it up and throwing it in the garbage.I got up and walked outside heading to the Aria's house.That was where we were meeting.

I knocked on the door and Aria opened the door and hugged me tightly.

''I missed you''she whispered and she pulled me into the room where I saw the girls after so long.I ran up to them and hugged them.

  At last she could release her past, let it float away into obscurity. Happiness flowed through her, warming her skin like the rays of an early summer sun. Her customary cautious grin exploded into a radiant smile that she had never worn before, not even as a small girl. Everything was going to be alright now, she had her girls and they had her. They were a team.  

The hug ended and we started talking and catching up and crying when the bell rang.Hanna squealed excited and opened the door and walks in with

CALEB.

My eyes widen and so does his and my breathing quickens

  The nausea swirled unrestrained in my empty stomach. My head swam with half-formed regrets. My heart felt as if my blood had become tar as it struggled to keep a steady beat. My melancholy mood hung over me like a black cloud, raining my personal sorrow down on me wherever I went. Even the colours of the spring day were drab to me now and the birdsong like so much noise on a child's glockenspiel, grating my nerves. The heartache was like a red hot coal placed in her chest, it glowed and burnt her at the same time, but it did not cool quickly like a coal in water, it throbbed and tortured her in all her walking hours and there was no relief to be found. 

''Caleb''I breathed out quietly.

''This is my boyfriend Caleb''Hanna said and kissed him.

''He helped us find you but he doesn't know who you are so Caleb meet Alison''My eyes watered as I smiled and congratulated her.

''Ali you okay''Emily asked me.

''I'm perfect''I said as I stared at him and his eyes watered as he looked down.He gave away a year of us for two years of one of my best friends.
