When Sapphire was young she had always heard stories of what it was like to be a werewolf, the freedom in shifting and having the ability to communicate with the inner wolf was always thrilling but the thing that always peaked her interests was the thought of having a mate out there somewhere, someone that is destined to love and care for you no matter what. It was always what she thought about in her spare time as she grew up, the excitement of getting older and finding her mate when she turned sixteen.
She loved making stories and thinking of what her mate would be, a great soldier under his Alpha's command or maybe even a great and wise Beta that advised his Alpha and made sure the pack ran smoothly. She liked to write down these stories in her small diary and even dreamt that they came true but what she never imagined was that her mate would be an Alpha, not just any Alpha but the most dangerous and the loneliest Alpha that had ever lived; Bennet Rage.
Her parents were strong wolfs, part of a small but quaint pack that never got into anyone's way or ever caused trouble, it was quiet and everyone knew each other, that was until the rogues attacked. The rogues were stronger and faster than any they'd ever come across before which was odd given they looked like normal rogues, in the end the pack was slaughtered and all that remained was Sapphire and her parents.
After the horrible events that occurred to her pack after her sixteenth birthday, they moved away to Broadmoore, a rather small town with a large forest. Their new home was right beside the forest so she was happy she'd have somewhere to let her wolf free.
