The Pack

After our amazing day at school, Bennet took me to the pack house and told me it was about time the pack met me, but as soon as we arrived Asher told Bennet he had an emergency meeting and offered to walk me around until Bennet was back, I agreed.

Before he left Bennet hugged me and promised to be as quick as possible, once he was gone i let out a small whimper but Asher distracted me by walking me around the training yards and the running tracks.

After the outside tour he walked me around the inside showing me the living room and kitchen, he also explained that members without family live here and that when I'm inducted as the Luna then Bennet and I will live here or our own cabin nearby.

After the full tour, he walked me back to the kitchen while we waited for Bennet's inevitable return. Once we got there, there were two people stood with bottles of water looking at us. The girl looked no older than me and had short dark brown hair with deep green eyes but looked very boyish. The guy looked slightly younger with crystal blue eyes and scruffy brown hair like Bennets but this guy couldn't pull it off as good. They were both wearing camo green shorts and a black tank top.

"How's it going Ash" the girl asked looking me up and down smiling "Is this your mate?" I could tell that she was getting excited.

"No, she isn't, I would say it's unfortunate but I'm scared of her mate" he chuckled and I knew that he wasn't going to tell them that Bennet was my mate for his own personal joke.

The guy was putting on a dopey smile and walked over putting his hands on my waist.
"So if this beauty isn't yours then maybe I could have a chance with her" he wasn't a jerk, he was more like a playful child.

A low growl rumbled throughout the room and everyone got the chills except Ash, he was stood there smirking. We all turned to see a displeased Bennet, at that point I worked out that Asher knew Bennet was coming so he let the guy touch me and make the suggestive comment to get him in trouble.

"Hands.... off" The way he spoke made me shiver and I realised that people feared him for good reason

The poor guy flew back in fear and I could have sworn the room smelt as if he'd shit himself which made me chuckle.

I have to admit that seeing Bennet being protective and fearsome was kind of hot, I bit my lip and walked over to him smiling. Once I reached him I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed his chin. I was never much of a girly girl but for some reason when he was around I became like a schoolgirl pining for him, except I knew he was mine.

"Taylor, Karlie, could you please leave us and I'm glad you've met my mate" he spoke softly as if the growling never happened.

Ash approached us still smirking and I slapped his arm since he played a cruel joke on Taylor, I think his name was. Bennet hugged me back and smiled as he looked down into my eyes.

"This place is amazing, I can't believe you guys live here" I really couldn't believe it, then I imagined myself living here with Bennet and it all started to sink in. I'm still young and I'm already bound to one person for the rest of my life, expected to care for him and his pack.

I'm also expected to bare and raise his children while he attends meetings and fights rogues.
"Do you expect me to bare and raise your children while you are off doing your Alpha duties" I was very blunt with my questioning but I needed to know.

"Sapphire, we're still very young, I don't expect anything from you, the only thing I want is for you to be my mate and the packs Luna, after that, whatever happens, we will work on together, I would never leave you to raise our children alone" his words came soft and full of feeling, I knew that I was lucky to have him as my mate.

Asher just sat there watching him as if he'd seen his brother fall in love, I knew that they were raised like brothers but the look he had on his face still made me feel warm.

"It's getting late and their's a bed upstairs you can stay in tonight" Bennet smiled and led me upstairs to a master bedroom that puts all the others to shame.
"You can sleep here tonight, I'll bunk with Ash" he turned and started to leave.

"Wait, this is your room? it's amazing, please stay and sleep with me" I didn't mean that in a dirty way and I could tell he knew.

We crawled in bed and I laid in his arms, he took his shirt off and I laid my head on his chest as I slowly drifted into a deep sleep, dreaming of all the things I would do in the future with my mate.
