Bennet's P.O.V

I stood there, frozen. I'd lost her. I'd only just found her and now she was gone. I could see Ash and Jordan talking, trying to get my attention but i couldn't hear anything, time was going slow and i felt empty.

I slowly slumped down in my chair and debated what i would do next, unsure of what i could do. I just sat with her jacket in my hand and let a few tears roll down my face because that was all i could do.

The day was slow and the pack was quite, everyone wanted to see their Alpha and give their condolences and ask what my plan of actoin was. I ignored everyone and thing for the entire day up until the moment i was laid in bed alone.

The night was long and cold without my mate by my side or in my arms but despite it i managed to sleep a few hours but had waking nightmares. I chose to stay awake at five and showered then got things ready sonce i still had to attend school.

I walked down with my keys and phone in my pocket until i felt it vibrate, shivers going through me as i realised that the only people who had my number was the pack and Sapphire, the pack was asleep. I slowly answered.

"How does it feel? Knowing you're always alone? I killed your parents and i've taken you mate" The voice came deep and i just listened as he made his taunts.

"I'm gonna kill you, tear you to pieces until there's nothing left" I snarled, the cold tone in my voice.

"Everyone fears you, you are said to be the strongest creature alive but you're weak"

"Where is my mate?"

"I don't have her, i'm not the one that wanted her. You'll find out soon enough" Then the line went dead, he was gone and once again i was left alone.

I walked slowly, aimlessly until i exited the forest by the school and walked slowly into the car park. I watched as students looked in my direction and made hushed chatter, not that i cared. Well not until i heard that damn voice.

"Baby!" Then once again i was tackled by the figure that tried to harm my mate once before.

"Get. Off. Me" I wasn't in the mood for a petty human's crush, not today.

"I'm glad you've come back to me" she smiled then i felt her lips over my cheek and neck.

I push her off me and walk past her slowly, wipping her lipstick off my cheek and neck as i walk into the school and to my first class.

Sappire's P.O.V

I woke up in the small dark room, damp and cold as the freezing wind blew through cracks in the door. I was scared and alone.

I heard the door creak open and i looked up to see a man holding a lamp.

"You're awake, good" His unfamiliar voice rung through the small room as i looked at him, trying to make out his figure.

"I've been hired to kidnap you and take you to someone who thinks you are something special but i'm doubting it's worth it. If i'd known you was that Alpha's mate then i wouldn't have taken you" He states "I already killed his parents"

I couldn't talk due to the cloth in my mouth and ropes tied me so i could move at all except to thrash against my bindings and hope to get free even though it was futile.

"Sleep tight, you'll be somewhere alot worse than this soon" I felt the needle in my neck as he said it and the world was dark once again.

Bennet's P.O.V

The lessons went slow and i had to put up with Asher's constant nagging about my feeling which were irrelevant at this time. Teachers and students tried to talk to me but i was in my own little world, the world i was in before i met my mate.

After school was over and i was left alone in the cold winters air i instantly started walking aimlessly again. I walked for hours around the city before finally i was stopped by the sound of sirens.

"Sir, we're investigating the dissapearance of a small family that lived by the woods and wittnesses have said you was the last one to be seen with the daughter" I hate human police, always sticking their noses in where they didn't belong.

"They went on holiday, i hear barbados is nice this time of year" I mumble as i start walking, much to their displeasure.

They couldn't take me in and i knew they'd be following me but i couldn't care less because i was busy trying to find my mate.

Days went by while i searched high and low making threats and beating up anyone that i believed had information. I got nothing except that the rogue who killed my parents had left the states and gone to Russia, he didn't have Sapphire anymore and whoever did was staying quite about it.

The days were long and dark but i kept on a strong face for the pack showing that i wouldn't break. The nights were cold and lonely as i laid in my bed broken while tears rolled down my face.

When the daylight creeped in i put my cold and distant personality on and walked through to my meeting.

"You aren't fit to lead this pack anymore, i vote that Alpha Bennet Rage be dissmissed and be replaced by someone of better training"

This was a meeting of Alpha's and none of them seemed pleased that i had let my pack become sullen and quite.

I stood and approached the man who'd voted to dissmiss me.

"My mate has been taken and my pack is in grief, i will not be dissmissed" I snarl

"That is not your choice, i will take your pack and you will become exiled if it has to come to that" He states firmly.

I was done. The crack filled the room and the mans body hit the floor seconds after i snapped his neck. "Anyone else want to dissmiss me?"
