7 came around and true to his word Ash was there waiting for me outside, we decided to walk to the party since it wasnt that far away, when we got there it was packed. The place was like a mansion apparently the kids parents are rich so he could afford to have everyone here.

Each room was different, one was stockpiled with snacks and alcohol and another had foozball and ping pong then there was another room that had a disco ball and music playing.
I mean damn the house was huge it had a huge balcony just above the entrance, a driveway that could hold 30 cars atleast, approximatley 25 rooms, that i'd seen and a huge swimming pool.

We got a drink while we waited for the great lone Alpha, pretty much the entire time Ash spent on his phone or talking to his pack mates. We'd been here for about an hour before Ash said the alpha had text saying he was here, i was told to wait till he came to get me so that we could finally meet. I hated being left alone while other people spoke about me, not giving me a chance to defend myself.

I must have only been waiting 10 minutes before it hit me, a smell that made me feel warm and at ease, the scent was so powerful i couldn't really describe it but if i had to put words to it i'd say it smelt like fresh cut grass but with a light hint of sweat and aftershave.

I knew he was here, My mate was at this party and i had to find him.

I followed the smell through this maze of a house, getting lost so many times, trying to navigate the crowded halls until i was finaly upstairs looking out of a glass door to see Asher talking to someone but i couldn't see them because they have their back to me.
He had short brown hair with a black shirt, jeans and sneakers on. I walked through the door but before i could meet the mystery man i was stuck in a death gaze from Ash.

"I told you to wait for me to come get you" he growled at me showing his dominance as beta but as he did he saw the guy infront of him turn his head to the side slightly and sniff the air.
"It's her isn't it, you finally found her" hope gleamed in Ash's eyes as he said that.

I started to walk forward, slowly getting closer and closer until i was mere feet away then the stranger turned, i looked in his eyes and i became dizzy i saw a vision of a forest with a pack of wolves standing tall, it was beautiful but it came to an end quick as the stranger barged past me.

"Wait, Stop please, your my mate ive dreamed of meeting you since i was little" i felt the emotion pour out of me with the words but i guess it wasnt enough, he just kept walking.
"Who are you" i was pleading my heart out.

He jumped off the balcony and ran off down the drive towards the forest, lucky that no one saw but as he run Asher called after him "ALPHA COME BACK" i felt like time stopped. I was stood there feeling happy and distraught, i finally met my mate and that made me feel on top of the world but he just walked right past me and that annihalated my feelings. I looked at Asher with a look of complete and utter confusion.

"Why doesn't he want me?" i said looking into the beta's eyes.

"He does, he's just been through alot, he doesn't know it yet but he needs you." Asher says trying to cheer me up.

It doesn't help that the person im destined to love, my mate walked past me and treated me like a stranger.

I left the party early that night against Ashers wishes, but now i wish i had left with him instead because if i had i wouldn't have been attacked.
