Mated to the lone alpha

The week

The week was terrible. I had hoped Friday would come quicker but unfortunately it was a painfully slow week. I don't know why but I felt like Friday was going to be an amazing night but I first had to endure the pains of the week.

As the week went along I realised I had fewer lessons with Asher and more with Rachel, she is a terrible person and at the end of each day I came out with more and more bruises. I know I could have stopped her or fought back but if I fought too hard or lost control I would jeopardize my family and the pack so I acted human and took the hits but luckily they didn't hurt much and healed quick which are two benefits of lycanthropy.

Every day after school I'd go home and change then meet Ash in the woods behind my house and we'd run and fight since he said it was him testing my abilities and speed so that he could report back to the alpha, I can't wait to meet him and I asked around about him, from what I can tell he's a badass that listens to no one and every girl at school wants him, not that they'd tell Rachel that.

I asked Ash where the Alpha was and why he was away from his pack since Alphas don't usually stray from their packs for too long. He told me how the Alphas parents were born in England so he'd chosen to have them buried back in their country of birth which i understood. I also found out that most of the pack including Ash and the Alpha were born in England but raised here in U.S. so never had the British accent, which deeply upset me not that I told Ash.

As Friday got closer the days got worse and the nights got more tiresome, Ash kept saying that I had to train to impress Alpha Benett I haven't even met the guy yet I'm training my ass off day and night, this better be worth it.

I got happy when Friday finally arrived and I had minimal contact with Rachel which was lucky, as the day grew later I got a little excited to meet my new Alpha and join the pack, but I was also nervous because my parents and Ash told me rumors about Alpha Benett. Apparently our kind call him the lone Alpha because he always ends up traveling without his pack for months at a time, luckily Ash is a loyal beta. I even heard that he had been fighting and killing since he was 6, way before he could even shift, that's why everyone wants him or fears him but apparently no one's good enough for him since he never really dates and his only friends are the pack.

I kinda feel sorry for him, being the alpha of the strongest pack alive and being feared by almost everyone must be a lonely existence. From what Ash has told me he'd been searching for his mate a lot before his parents passed, apparently he travelled the world just to find her. She's so lucky to have a mate that's willing to travel the world to find her. I wish i had someone out there looking for me just like Benett was looking for his mate.
