Chapter 5

After I finished the tapes, I felt so confused and hurt. My whole world felt like a lie I was disgusted with myself, the school, my boyfriend, and my 'friends'. Even though Tyler was my brother I no longer felt bad for him. Then there was Sheri she was always such a sweetheart, as opposed to Courtney, who everyone knows is fake. Sheri was always one of the good ones, and poor Clay he was the only one who deserves sympathy in this whole situation.

As I got ready for school the next day, my emotions were all over the place. I left early to stop by the post office to mail the tapes. The next person on the list was Sheri, I was worried about how she would react. What she did was really serious, while I was upset about what she did, but I didn't want her do react badly and do something crazy.

When I got to school, I sat in my car wondering what to say to everyone. Then there was a knock on the window. I looked over to see Tyler I rolled my eyes and got out of the car

"What?" I snapped

"Perri about the tapes."

"Shut up, I don't want to hear it from you." I said then pushed past him and went inside and the first thing I saw was Zach laughing with his friends and I instantly got angry and stormed over

"Hey Perri." I heard before I punched Zach

"Oh shit!"

"Number seven!?" I snapped slapping him

"Perri chill."

"You asshole!"

"Perri stop." I heard in my ear by who was holding me back, it took me a couple of minutes before recognized that voice and pushed him away

"DON'T YOU EVER FUCKING TOUCH ME BRYCE!" I screamed then slapped him too, I saw a drak look on his face as he stepped towards me but Montgomery stepped in between us

"Perri, Perri stop." He said holding my hands

"No, he's fucking sick!"

"Perri Down! Office now!" Mr. Porter snapped walking over

"Let me go Monty!" I snapped pulling away from him. Mr. Porter grabbed my arm

"Zach why don't you come and see the nurse?" I heard him say

"Uh sure." I heard him say, and of course we went straight to Bolan's office anything for one of his precious athletes.

"What's going on?" He asked Mr. Porter

"A fight, Perri started it." He said and Mr. Bolan looked at me shocked

"What happened?" He asked And Zach spoke up

"I don't know Perri what-"

"He's a piece of shit!"

"Language Colleen."

"It's Perri."

"What is the reason for assaulting other students?"

"Assault?" I laughed

"All I did was punch him but believe me he deserves way worse."

"Perri I'm so-"

"Shut up!" I snapped

"Enough Perri I have no choice but to suspend you for three days." He said and I rolled my eyes

"Mr. Bolan don't suspend her, look I'm fine." Zach said as I looked at his bloody lip

"We're enforcing our zero-tolerance bullying policy."

"A little too late don't you think?" I said

"How about this? Perri does detention for the next week and then she meets with me once a week." Mr. Porter offered

"Fine and you'll help student council with the anti-bullying campaign."

"You want me to help Courtney and Marcus? Fuck that I'll take the days." I said with a laugh

"Perri stop it." Zach said

"Fuck you Zach."

"Enough Ms. Down, that's your punishment. Zach do you need to see the nurse?"

"I'm good." He sad and Bolan nodded and I rolled my eyes

"Ok get to class and Perri wait here while I call your parents." He said then walked Zach out of the office

"Perri do you want to talk what's going on?" Mr. Porter asked

"Nope." I said folding my arms

"Why did you attack Zach?"

"Because he's a dick." I said not looking at him

"Alright I'll leave it for now, just know my door is always open."

"Like it was for Hannah?" I said looking up at him, as I remembered his tape. He sighed and then walked away
