Chapter 19

Perri

My head was pounding, as I slowly opened my eyes the room was spinning. I shut my eyes again as the pounding in my head continued. 'What happened last night?' I thought I was tried to remember. I opened my eyes and looked around I looked at the San Francisco Giants posters on the wall, but I still couldn't figure out where I was and I felt that if I moved my body would fall apart. I pushed myself to sit up and I felt my stomach turn, and I began feeling nauseous and I felt sore in my private area

"Hey Perri." I looked to see Monty standing in the doorway he shut the door and sat next to me in the bed

"Where am I?" I asked my throat was so dry

"Here." He said handing me a glass of water

"What happened?" He asked

"I don't know, I remember Bryce handing me a bottle of water and then we played beer pong."

"Did you take something?"

"No I had one beer from the game. What did you do?"  I asked and he looked shocked

"I didn't do anything I brought you here to keep you safe."

"Where am I?"

"You're at my house, I'll take you home as soon as my dad leaves." He said

"My parents are gonna kill me wheres my phone?"

"I think we left it at Bryce's."

"Stop saying that name." I said then tried to stand but I felt more pain between my legs

"Ow." I said sitting back down then when I realized I wasn't wearing any panties I glared at Monty.

"What did you do to me?!" I snapped

"Nothing Perri I helped you it was-"

"What the hell is going on in here Montgomery? "He door opened and his dad was standing there looking between the two of us.

"Who is this?" He asked looking at me

"Dad is this Perri." He said and he nodded

"What did I tell you about having company?"

"It was late so I let her sleep here, I slept on the floor."

"Looks like we need to have one of our talks." He said with a dark look, I glanced at Monty and for the first time since I've known him he looked scared

"I'm gonna go."

"No Perri wait I'll drive you, just wait outside by my car ok?" He said and I nodded then left the house. As soon as I left the house I took off walking, after two blocks I instantly regretted my decision my head was still banging like a drum, I felt like throwing up, and the pain between my legs seemed to get worse every step I took. I felt so embarrassed as I walked down the street in just my dress, I had no idea where my shoes were, and apparently I left my purse with my phone inside at Bryce's.  As I reached the end of the third block I heard a horn, I turned to see Monty pulling up beside me

"I told you to wait for me."

"I'm fine."

"Perri get in let me take you home."

"Leave me alone Monty."

"Perri please just get in, I promise I'll drive you straight home." He said but I ignored him and kept walking

"It's a half an hour walk and your not wearing shoes." He said and I stopped and my pain got worse, I sighed then got in the car. That's when I looked at him he put on a pair of sunglasses but his lip was busted and his jaw was bruised.

"Monty-" I started as I looked at his face

"Don't worry about it I've had worse." He said then started driving towards my house. We didn't speak until he parked in my driveway

"Um I'll stop by Bryce's and grab your stuff." He said and I nodded and I started to get out but he stopped me

"I'm sorry Perri."  He said and I shut the door before I started crying I walked quickly to the front door, when I realized I didn't have my key so I would have to knock, after the first knock the door was pulled open and I looked at both of my parents who shared looks of fear, anger, and relief.

"Where the hell have you been?" Dad snapped as soon as I walked into the house

"Why did you call us? I can't believe you stayed out all night, with a boy." Dad kept going every sentence brought me closer to crying

"Tom stop." Mom said then turned to me

"Perri what happened?" She asked and I couldn't stop the tears

"I-I don't know."
