Chapter 21

I spent the rest of the day going through the motions just ignoring everyone I couldn't stop thinking about what Sheri said, was I drugged. I went to the library during lunch and looked up 'roofies' and all my symptoms matched. I know it was Bryce he was the only person who gave me a drink. When I got home I tried calling Monty but I didn't get an answer. I needed to know, because I'm losing my mind at this point.

The next day was a little better everyone was distracted with the costume contest to keep pointing at the slut.

"Hey Perri." I looked at Marcus

"What do you want Marcus?"

"I'm sorry about the rumors that Bryce has been spreading, I just wanted you to know I've been telling everyone to stop." He said and I looked at him and I could picture him in my mind we were back in Bryce's kitchen but it was gone as soon as it came.

"Perri are you ok?"

"Yeah I'm fine thanks Marcus." I said shutting my locker, I turned and ran right into a someone, I looked up so see Zach looking down at me. He looked angry

"Aw look at the happy couple." Bryce said wrapping an arm around each of us I thought I was going to be sick

"Don't touch me!" I snapped and walked away, my chest started to feel tight at the thought of him touching me, I couldn't breathe until I left the building I took some deep breaths until I was able to catch my breath

"Are you ok?" I heard no I sighed

"I wish people would stop asking me that." I turned to see Jessica dressed up as a punk rock chick

"You look sick, I was just checking on you."

"I'm fine." I lied then looked at her, wondering how was she coping with this only trusting the word of Justin.

"You not." She said sitting next to me

"Is this about what Bryce is saying?"

"If that was my only problem I could handle it a lot better."

"Look if something happened between you two it not that big of deal."

"Me and Bryce really?"

"I get it things happen when we're drunk." She said and I glared at her

"Fuck you Jessica." I said then stormed away from her, I went and sat in my car. I didn't understand how people could easily believe that lie.

Marcus's Pov

I was fucked up about this Bryce obviously did something to Perri, I've never seen her look so scared. I can't say anything because I think I could be implicated. I don't need any kind of stink on my name I just finished my early admission application for Harvard. I waited until the end of the costume contest, which Justin and Jessica won I pulled Zach away from the guys.

"What's up man?" He asked, now Zach is my boy but he can be so dumb

"What are you doing?"

"What are you talking about?" He asked

"Why are you hanging with Bryce?"

"I don't worry about it, what do you want?"

"He's spreading all these rumors about Perri are you really cool with that?"

"Why should I care, she doesn't care about me."

"That's bullshit and you know it. Look you need to talk to her all of this shit is getting to her."

"Look it's not my problem, tell Monty that's who she chose." He said then walked away I shook my head and walked away

Perri

I pulled into my driveway and I saw someone sitting on the steps. I got out and walked over when I noticed it was Monty.

"Hey." He said and I just stared at him

"I've been calling you." I said and he sighed

"I know sorry I haven't been home, my dad is still on his bender."

"I need to know what happened to me that night." I said

"Perri I don't know."

"Bullshit Monty! I-I need to know Bryce is-"

"What what did he do?"

"He's been telling people that I had a threesome with you and him." I said feeling tears coming to my eyes I've been crying a lot lately

"shit Perri I'm sorry." He said trying to hug me but I stepped away. He said sighed then wrapped his arms around me and this time I let him

"Please Monty I need to know."

"All I know is you were passed out in one of Bryce's guest room,"

"Something happened to me Monty, I still can't find my panties. Right now I don't know who to trust, I can't talk to my parents, Zach not talking to me and he's hanging with Bryce, and I don't know if it was you or Bryce who did this to me."

"What?"

"You won't tell me the truth I woke up in your bed. You know something Monty I know you do."

"I could never hurt you like that Perri."

"THEN TELL ME THE TRUTH!" I snapped

"IT WAS BRYCE!" He yelled and i felt like i was going to be sick 

"What did he do to me Monty?" i asked softly I needed to hear him say the words

"He raped you Perri." He admitted and I broke down he wrapped his arms
