Chapter 13

Zack

I was fully prepared to kick Clay's ass after what he did to Perri. I took her home and promised to come pick her up in the morning. Then I met up with  Justin and Alex, we decided we'd take Clay on a little drive to scare him. We took Alex's car because mine was too noticeable. We cut him off on his route home, when he saw us get out the car her looked nervous.

"What's up Jensen?"

"What do you guys want?"

"Let us give you a ride home." I said

"No I'm good." He said by Justin grabbed his bike

"Get in the car." I said as Justin took his bike over to the car

"Give me my bike back."

"Clay, just get in the car I'll take you home." Alex said but he shook his head and I pushed him towards the car

"Get in." I said glaring at him and he got in the front seat. Justin and I got in the back and Alex took off, and slowly started speeding

"Whoa Alex slow down." Clay said starting to panic

"You've been fucking with people a lot lately, it's not so much fun when it you right?" I said

"Alex!" He snapped ignoring me but Alex just started going faster

"Alright! Alright I'll stop just slow down!" He said and Justin and I laughed

"Alex slow down." Justin said but he just kept going and Justin looked at me

"Alex chill." I said but he ignored me too and kept speeding, we all started to panic a little as he ran a stop sign and then we saw flashing blue and red lights behind us

"Fuck!"

"Alex seriously pull over man now." I snapped and he finally started to slow down and pulled on to the ride of the road. I knew we were fucked as the cop walked up to the driver side

"Do you know how fast you were going son?"

"No sir." Alex said completely calm

"You do know that's considered reckless driving, that comes with a $1,500 fine and points on your license. Right?"

"Yes sir."

"Alright take your friends home and let your mom know I'll be there soon."

"Ok dad." He said and Justin and I shared a look as Alex's dad walked back to his car.

"Holy shit." I said with a laugh

"You see Clay you can't fucking touch us.."

"Perri where's your car?" Dad asked at breakfast

"I wasn't feeling well, so Zach drove me home.'

'Did you guys need a ride in?"

"No Zach should be here soon."

"Are you ok to go to school?" Mom said placing a hand on my forehead

"I'm fine." I said pushing her hand away. They stopped questioning but I could feel their eyes on me. I ate a little then there was a knock at the door

"That's Zach, Ty if you want a ride come on." I said grabbing my stuff

"Have a good day" Mom called as we left

"Hey." Zach said

"Hi."

"What's he doing?" He asked looking at Tyler

"Just give him a ride for me please?"

"Alright, get in the back Marcus." He snapped at him and he scoffed as he changed seats

'Hey Perri."

"Marcus." I wasn't in the mood to talk so we rode in silence, when we turned down the block. There was a bunch of people stopped in front of the tennis courts. Which only meant one thing a fight.

"Shit, let's check this out. "Zach said and parked in the middle of the street

"Zach really?"

"It's cool P." He said getting out and Marcus following, I rolled my eyes and got out of the car. I didn't want to watch that, as I walked past I could see through a gap in the crowd Monty on top of Alex punching him. I sighed and headed towards the building walking past Mr. Porter who was going to break it up.

"Perri wait up?" I turned to see Tyler I rolled my eyes

"I got some good shots." He said and I scoffed and slapped the camera out of his hands

"What the fuck Perri?!"

"Just stop with the fucking pictures. It's all day with this shit!"

"I'm the student-"

"Save it! You know those aren't going in the yearbook. You have a problem, you fucking psycho!" I screamed and walked in the building I don't know how much more of this shit I can take..
