Chapter 33

Zach's Pov

As Perri laid on my chest fast asleep I had so many emotions running through me, guilt, sadness, but the strongest was anger. Holding her in my arms was the only thing stopping me from going to find Bryce right now. I couldn't get my head straight, how fucked up am I? I knew what that guy was and I still hung around him and  he hurt her. I looked down at Perri this girl is the love of my life the thought of someone who I thought of as a friend doing this to her. My phone dinged with a text, I pulled it from my pocket seeing a bunch of texts from Justin making me roll my eyes. Before I could put the phone back in my pocket he was calling but put it on silent and put it back in my pocket.

"Who's that?" I looked down to see Perri staring at me

"It's just Justin."

"Do you need to go?"

"No, I'm exactly where I need to be." 

'How do you feel?" She asked and I looked at her

"I should be asking you that."

"I've been going through the motions since it happened, I do feel like a small weight off my shoulder."

"I should've been there." I said closing my eyes which didn't help because I keep picturing him on top of her.

"Zach?" She asked and I looked into her beautiful brown eyes that were filled with fear

"Yeah?"

"D-do you want to end this for good?" She asked and I quickly sat up

"No Perri, I've been fighting for you for months now, I'm not losing you. Why would you ask me that?" I asked placing a hand on her back she let a few tears go that I quickly wiped away

"He touched me Zach, he took something from me that I've only ever given to you and I've been feeling so disgusted with myself."

"You are not disgusting, he is. He's a sick fuck who I'm gonna take down if it kills me."

"I don't know if can do this Zach."

"I will be there for everything, we can take it as slow as you want." I said and she wrapped her arms around me and I pulled her close holding her in my arms  trying to stay strong for her.

There was knock on her door we looked to see Tyler standing there and some kid behind him

"Hey." He said awkwardly

"Hey Ty." Perri said wiping her eyes then looked at him

"Are you ok?" He asked and she shrugged

"As good as I can be." She said and he just stood there

"I love you Perri." He said and she smiled

"I love you too Tyler." She said and he left the room

"Can you stay? She asked as we laid down again

"I'm not going anywhere."

Tyler

"What was that about?" Kyle asked as we walked into my room

"Stuff, don't worry about it." I said going to my trunk

"Lock the door." I told him and he did then I unlocked it I pulled out all of my clothes, then I stared at my guns and my urge to hurt someone was stronger than ever. First Hannah, now my sister Perri and I don't always get along but she still my sister. She's looked out for me for years and now it my turn to fight for her.

"Tyler man what's up? Everything so tense, what's wrong with Perri? Who's the dude in there with her?"

"If I tell you it doesn't leave this room."

"Ty it's me come on what's up?"

"That's Zach, her boyfriend,this all started about a month ago, when Hannah Baker killed herself...'
