Chapter 12

It had been two days since Zach and I talked, our line of communication was back open, but I didn't want to jump back into a relationship so quickly. Even though I do still love him very much. I was in my room relaxing when I heard my dad and Tyler arguing about his window. It had been a week since the last rock, but Tyler refused to let them fix it. I don't know why, maybe he was still expecting more who knows. I laid back on my bed I texting Sheri about hanging out after practice tomorrow, then I got a text from Clay I frowned a little confused but I opened it anyway and was thoroughly disgusted as I looked at the picture of Tyler's ass. You could tell the picture was taken from outside his window,

"Oh my God." I said to myself I as walked down the hall to his room.

"What the fuck?" I asked as he paced his floor

"It's Clay! He has the tapes." 

"And he's getting even." 

"GET OUT!" He yelled at me

"Ty-"

"GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY ROOM!" He yelled and shoved me into the hall slamming the door behind me

"Ow!" I winced as I hit the wall

"What's going on?" Dad asked rounding the corner

"He's a freak!" I snapped

"Perri.."

"He just shoved me into the wall."

"Tyler." He walked over and tried to open the door but it was locked

"Tyler open this door now!"

"Go away!" He yelled back. Tyler held strong for about 15 minutes before dad threatened to break the door. They tried to talk to him but he refused to, so they left him alone, but he wasn't allowed to close his door. They were worried about him I could tell, which is why I got the old 'look out for your little brother speech' I've heard this one since he started walking it was practically drilled into my brain. After promising to take care of him again they finally let me go to bed.

Tyler spent the next morning tying to get out of going to school, but dad told him it was time for I'm to start standing up for himself and sent us on our way.I think they just didn't want him home alone. When we got to school people started pointing and laughing at him

"Hey Ty, Ty nice ass!" I looked to see Bryce and Monty mooning us as the rest of the jocks laughed

"Come on." I said pulling him into the building

"I can't do this!"

"Yes you can! It's time for you start standing up for yourself. I won't always be here, you did what you did and it was fucked up. Own up to it and move on." I said walking away from him

"Hey is your brother alright?" Sheri asked walking up to me

"He'll be fine."

"So everyone is a little freaked out about what Clay's gonna do next." She said I could tell she was worried

"Sheri it's gonna be ok, have you thought about telling someone yet?"

"Yes but every time I try I chicken out."

"Just say the word and I'll come with you." I said and she smile

"You're such a good friend Perri." She said and I smiled lightly I couldn't completely agree with that statement.

"Hey pretty girl." We looked to see Monty walking up to us

"Are you serious?" I asked I can't believe he thought what he just did was cool

"What did I do?"

"You do remember Tyler is my brother right?"

"So? Jensen sent that picture around not me.' I looked at Sheri and we shared a look

"All of the guys at this school can not be this stupid." I said to her and she giggled

"Just go away Monty."

"What?"

"Bye." I said putting my hand in his face

"Everything alright Perri?" Zach asked coming over

"It's Fine." I said

''Jesus man are you stalking us?" Monty said

"She's my girlfriend."

"Ex-girlfriend."

"Looks who talking, you've been nobody for the past two years."

"Stop it! I'm no one's girlfriend because you're both dicks. So just leave me alone both of you!" I said pulling Sheri away with me

After school I was grabbing my gym bag so I could change for practice

"Hey Perri wait up!" I looked to see Clay running up to me

"Look Clay what you did wasn't cool."

"What about what you did?"

"What?"

"You were her friend and you just turned on her for that fucking stalker."

"No it wasn't—"

"Yes it was she told you what he did and you called her liar and turned you back on her.'

"Clay."

"You abandoned her! Then you let Courtney shit on her some more." I felt tears come to my eyes because I knew I was a bad friend but hearing it from someone else made me feel like shit.

"I tried-"

"You should've tried harder!" He snapped

"Back off Jensen!" I heard Zach say

'Did you even try to help her?" He said

"Fuck off Clay!" Zach said wrapping his arms around as I cried because everything Clay said was true...
