"So he built the first atomic bomb?" Nia looked beside her at Bellamy, the two were keeping watch. It was Bellamy's turn and Nia just wanted to tag along and hassle him a little.
"You finally got it after nearly an hour." He laughed at her, his eyes shined in happiness for the first time in a few days. "I actually found you something yesterday." Bellamy reached his hand into his jacket and pulled out a small book. Nia leant forward curiously but he pulled it back away from her, shielding it from her gaze.
"A boiled egg in the morning is really hard to beat." He smirked, reading from the book and causing Nia to gasp.
"Is that a-"
"I once heard a joke about amnesia.. but I forgot how it goes." Nia grabbed the book from Bellamy's hand and stared at it in awe, the man watched her with a smile on his face.
"This is so cool." Nia mumbled, flipping through the pages of the book.
"Glad you like it."
"Like it? I love it." She flitted her eyes up to him and matched the smile on his face. "I used to be addicted to soap. But I'm clean now." Nia snorted as she read it, her cheeks then tinting pink in embarrassment.
"Guys! Fire!" Someone yelled out in the camp behind them, the two jumped up from their spot and headed back inside, Nia not forgetting to bring her new book with her.
"Are you okay?" Bellamy asked his sister, who was just in the burning shack. She coughed and nodded to him in reply.
"This is all your fault! We told you it was too much wood." Murphy ran towards a boy called Del, and began punching him with rage.
"Get the hell away from me." The boy exclaimed, trying his best to shove Murphy away from him.
"Hey, stop! Save it for the Grounders." Bellamy said, pulling the two away from each other and staring at the both of them.
"Well, now what the hell are we gonna do? That was all the food." Octavia turned to Bellamy, a worried look on her face.

Clarke and Bellamy held a short meeting to discuss what they were going to do about the sudden loss of food. Bellamy came forward and briefed the delinquents about hunting. "Each group takes someone with a gun, and they're for killing Grounders, not food. We don't have the ammo. Use the spears for hunting. Get what you can. Be back by nightfall. No one stays out after dark."
Harper walked up behind Nia, gently tapping her shoulder to get her attention. "Hey, I haven't seen you much lately so I wondered if we could team up for hunting? We can catch up a bit." The blonde suggested, looking hopefully at her friend.
"Yeah, of course." Nia smiled back, Harper nodded and picked up her gun whilst Nia grabbed a spear.
Another girl called Fox joined the two, the three stalked their way through the forest. Glancing around in hope they would spot an animal. Luckily they came across two rabbits, although they were small at least it was something and they wouldn't go starving. "What's up with you and Bellamy lately?" Harper whispered, nudging Nia's arm. She just glared at her in response.
"Nothing, why would you even think there was?" Nia scoffed, making sure to keep her voice and footsteps quiet.
"Oh I don't know, you were with him on watch today looking pretty happy."
