We Are Grounders Pt. 1

[currently unedited - if you see any typos / something's wrong please comment :)]

The 100 were busy at work preparing their camp for the war that was inevitable to come, Raven had built some landmines with the help of Jasper, and they were currently mining the south field full of them.

"Come on. These foxholes aren't gonna build themselves. Better hope those landmines work. All the gunpowder we're wasting, we could be making more grenades." Bellamy said to Raven, ever since his co-leader went missing, he's been on edge and more demanding to the delinquents to finish making everything safe.

"You want to come over here and test one?" Raven snapped at him, tired of his constant orders.

"Cute. I need this entire section minded by morning. Then you finish the south field."

"Hey.. I told you we're going after Finn, Clarke and Monty in the morning." Raven stood up from the ground, annoyed that he'd forgotten.

"And I told you, nobody leaves this camp."

Nia stepped up to them, "we can't just leave them out there." Bellamy shook his head and began to walk away from the two girls, Raven wasn't having it.

"I'm talking to you. We can't just abandon our people. You want to lead them, show them you give a damn." Bellamy was about give her an angry response when one of the delinquents fired their gun. The noise instantly made everyone alert, looking around for Grounders.

"Hey.. What the hell is the matter with you?" Bellamy growled at Sterling, snatching his gun away from him. The boy stuttered and his eyes drooped sleepily, dark bags circling them.

"I'm sorry, man. I fell asleep. I've been on watch all day."

"We've all been on watch all day! That bullet was one less dead Grounder." Bellamy hissed at the boy, the group of delinquents who were near them halted and cautiously watched as their leader grew angry. Nia took notice of the wary eyes around her and stepped up to Bellamy, placing one of her hands on his shoulder, slightly pulling him away from Sterling.

"Bellamy, you're scaring people." She whispered to him, he turned to her, his anger not faltering and staring at the group around him.

"They should be scared! The bomb on the bridge bought us some time to prepare, but that time is up! The Grounders are out there right now, waiting for us to leave and picking us off one by one when we do! Clarke, Finn and Monty are gone, probably dead, and if you want to be next, I can't stop you, but no guns are leaving this camp! This camp is the only thing keeping us alive! Get back to work!"

Nia winced at the mention of Monty, she was hoping he was alive somewhere, but deep down a part of her knew what Bellamy said was right. He was probably dead, and that was her fault. She knelt down in the dirt and helped them lay down the landmines, trying to not blow herself or anyone else up. Every so often, Nia's eyes would flick up at Bellamy and watch him walk around as a confident, leader type aura surrounded him. If you didn't know Bellamy, you could still just tell by the way he presented himself that he was a natural born leader.

The man glanced down to his radio, his face scrunched up in confusion as he heard people's voices speak through it. He picked it up from his pocket and placed it near his mouth. "Tell Bellamy what?" Nia now focused her full attention on him, wondering what was being spoken about via the walkie talkies.

"Murphy has a gun. He killed Myles." Jasper's frantic voice yelled through the radio.

"Murphy, what the hell are you doing?" Stress wrinkles formed on Bellamy's forehead as he gripped the radio in his hands. Nia's eyes darted over to the drop ship doors just in time to see them closing.
