.Daughter Of Both Sides.

Shadow's pov:

I'm named Shadow because there needs to be light and dark to create it and my last name is Grey because it's a mix of white and black.

I'm the middle, half and half, not black nor white.

I had short chin length hair, it was blacker then the blackest black and it faded to pure white, whiter then paper on the left side and it covered my left eye.

I wore red and black combat boots, black pants, white T-shirt, a dark blue hoodie with white highlights and a yin yang medallion that I can't take off because mom and dad would need to cancel the magic on it but mom is dead and I ran from dad.

my left eye was red for being half demon from dad and my right eye was blue of being half angel from mom.

I had a grey bag and a katana, you'd be stupid to not have a weapon in this world of ours. the katana had a black blade and a white hilt, the sheath was half black and half white with a yin yang sign where the two sides touched.

"ready for another day of school?" ask Seira, the water goddess in my head.

"yeah" I thought to her.

I got out of bed as she woke me...... why am I always tired? I'm only 17..... oh well.... I live alone to hid from my father and went to the Academy for light and dark where all creatures could go.

I woke up Cub and Pup, I know I'm not the best to name things when it comes down to it.

Cub is a white wolf while Pup is a black wolf, neither one of them are pups but the name stuck, Cub was a light wolf and Pup was a dark wolf, I found them in the forest and raised them, since they grew up together they didn't hate each other like they would normally as wild creatures.

I was going to start my first day of third year and I wasn't excited about it, I never talked and stayed alone with Cub and Pup, I was a loner and no one knew anything about me but they never tried to learn either and I didn't care.

because of my parents I had angel wings but they were just as black as my hair with the end of the feathers white, I could shrink them small enough so they weren't visible even if I only had a T-shirt on and all the clothes I put over them had two holes cut in the back of them in case I needed to use my wings.

this school wasn't like normal school were people went to simply learn, we were taught to fight against beast creatures, beast creatures are monsters that are half and half like me and attack you if you aren't like that which no one but me is but I still get attacked. we learned to use our powers and such and could be sent out on missions when you were in third year, the school was the size of a whole town and I lived in it. 

there were more schools like this and there would be tournaments between the schools every year.

I arrived to the school building and went inside and went to the principal's office because I was called in.

"what is the freak doing here?" I heard a boy say, we were five in the office without counting me and the principal.

three boys and three girls with me.

"you six will be send out in different directions and will take any quest given to you, you'll come back to the school a year later for the tournament, you'll travel and will be the ones representing the school in the tournament" the principal said.

"but why her?" the same boy asked pointing at me.

"you may not know but she's named Shadow Grey, daughter of demon and angel, the perfect half and half being aside from the beast creatures" I smirked at the students surprised looks as I showed my wings for more effect. if they are scared they won't bother me.

"you should ask things if you want to know about people" I said for the first time in a while making their eyes open even bigger.

"here's what you will need" the principal handed me a first quest and I sighed, leaving the stunned kids.

"looks like we'll be travelling"

"yeah... let's get ready"
