all the other quest hunters from our school blamed me for Emma's death........

Kara and Helix mostly followed me around with my own wolves, Emma's summons wouldn't leave my side would have looked eager to fight for my protection which made me feel even worst that even in death.... Emma was still here to try to protect me.

3ird person pov:
will Shadow mourned the death of her only friend and without knowing it, crush, said supposed girl was yelling bloody murder in hell.
"stop it! please!" Emma yelled as the whip hit her bare skin again, leaving a red gash.
"you need to pay for being with my girl! she's mine! no one else's! mine mine mine mine mine! MINE!!!!" yelled Lucifer, hitting her yet again.
this torture and a lot of others went on for a time Emma couldn't tell, there was no way to tell the time in this place, by now all her clothes except her underwear were torn and hanged on her body without serving much, bruises, blood and burns covered her from head to toe.
"she.... isn't yours.... bastard"
"that's what I like about your family! never giving up! always fighting until the end! until there is nothing to fight for! even then you will fight!" Lucifer said, laughing maniacally as her picked up a red hot metal pipe, burning his own hand but not feeling it as Emma cowered, unable to move as she was chained to the wall.
the vampire was crying his eyes out as he heard his child's agonising screams and Lucifer's laughter echo in between the cells, he wished he could do something else then just listen.
Lucifer made Emma look at him and roughly taking her chin and yanking her head up.
"you will help me get Shadow" he said with a smile and Emma spit at him weakly, he slapped her in anger.
"look here bitch! Shadow will do everything to make sure you are safe if she knew you were alive~.... then I snatch her.... and show her I'm the only one she ever needed!"

the people coming to see the tournament had seen students fight against each other, they made bets to see which school would win this year.
