Emma's pov:

I don't think I had ever ran this fast and I kicked the door of the hospital open.

they took Shadow in but a few minutes before they came out with a sour face.

"no......." I muttered.

"we are sorry"

"NO!" I pushed passed them and walked in the room, wanting to cry my eyes out.

I touched her hand but it was cold with no breath moving her chest. I was about the cry when I noticed a little detail that would change everything.

I put two fingers against Shadow's neck, feeling nothing.... b-but what?!

I laid my head on her chest.

I gasped when a beat, faintly but the more time you spend listening the more you could time them and tell she was very well alive.... somehow....

"she's not dead!" I yelled at the docs and they came to the same conclusion as me but then............ who.......... she isn't breathing and is cold as ice yet her heart is beating.... wait.... I got it!

"she's half angel! angels don't die the same way as we! she may be alive" I said.

"but her spirit must have left"

"is there not a way to get her back?! I'll do everything!"

"there is a way" I looked to the side to see my mom.

"we can put you in a dead state without you really dying for ten minutes max, each minute lowering your chance of survival by 5% and at 50% risk of dying we will not let you continue, I don't care if Shadow is not back by then that's the limit" mom said.

"who will I find her?"

"will send you to the place her spirit is"

"let's do this!"

"I won't let you!" dad yelled, running in the room.

"dad!"

"I can't afford to lose you!"

"dad please! I can't lose her!"

"I said n--" mom locked him out with an innocent look on her face.

"I don't want you to do these either" she said " but I know love, so I'll help you but remember.... ten minutes, nothing more" I nodded and mom muttered a spell in a language I didn't know.

I slammed my hands over my heart as it painfully...... s-stopped!!!! I fell over, slowly blacking out.

"ten minutes, don't forget that" was the last thing I heard before I felt a really soft ground under me, I looked up.

oh holy heaven this place was white!...... well it is the literal holy heaven after all...

Shadow's pov:

I was crying my eyes out a few minutes ago and I was walking with my mother right now.... seams I died.

"I love you you know" she said and I nodded.

"yes mother I know"

I sighed, not liking the white and gold everywhere.

"all angels, someone that's not pure penetrated on heavens grounds" we hear a booming voice, someone that's not pure.

"stay here!" mother says but it seemed fishy to me so followed.... WHAT THE HECK EMMA?!?!
