the fight with Lazoras cause us the less wounds up until now but it also causes the more pain.
she did spend a lot of time with me, not as a friend but still, I know she was thinking the same as me and we were secretly friends.
I sighed and looked at Emma.
"don't summon Lilian unless it's extreme necessity" I told her.
"she told me the same thing.... why?"
"angels, most of the summons and constellation keeper can't die like us, they just go back to the realm they came from but demons, as you witnessed quiet sometimes now, they die.... I can't let my wolves get hurt either.... all the summons from this realm can and will die in battle if struck down, Lilian was Lazoras's summon for the longest time, for her to pass Lilian on, that means she saw something in father's plan where only a demi-demon would be able to win" I said.
"alright.... I'll take care of her.... you said you had a rune" I sighed.
"yes all demon and angel have one so I do to"
"I didn't finish.... do other creature have runes too?"
"no.... unless they brand themselves with a unique rune and give it the someone else, then they become summons"
"alright"
"I knew you would be a good rune mage" I said and Emma shrugged with a chuckle.
"I try"
"well a few more quests and we'll need to go again, with all the travelling and such.... how much time do you thing has passed?"
"I don't know"
"neither do I but I feel like the recall will be send soon" I said, the recall is a powerful beam of light each school directs to the sky a month before the tournament starts and when you need to return to the school.
"alright, let's finish these quests"
Emma's pov:
I sighed as I helped someone repair their carriage, that someone was mister Hulken, the man that got us to the town.
"why are yah sighing' so much miss?" he asked.
"nothing to important"
"everythin' is important I tell yah.... come on, spill the beans" he said and I shed again.
"I like someone but don't know if I should tell them or not"
"well do it!"
"let me rephrase then.... I like someone but don't know if I should tell her"
"that makes things a little more complicated"
"yeah and I've been travelling with her for a long time but I still barely scratched the surface of her past, I know nothing because she doesn't talk about it as it wasn't normal"
"well little gal all I can tell yah is that yah do what you heart tells you to do" he said, patting my shoulder and making me sigh again.
"alright thanks" I said.
we had left the village as we had finished all our quests, we were walking near the edge with a big drop next to us, I was going to say something when I felt something grabbing my leg and yank me towards the ledge.
"Shadow!" I yelled as she caught my hand with Kara and Helix as a monster, like made of rocks climbed up and pushing Shadow and the others away and me down the ledge.
I screamed from the top of my lungs before I saw a dark red, almost black hole appears in mid-air and then I hit the ground.... I was a little dazed but I hadn't fallen long enough to be killed.
I sat up, pushing on the ground but instantly took my hands off the ground, oh shit it cuts!
I noticed everything was hot and red, looking around all I saw was fire, red, lava and a castle.
"oh no" I started to sweat nervously.
"oh but it is" I jumped at the sickeningly sweat voice and face the man behind me.

my words left my mouth as I looked at his fake smiled at mirrored Shadow's one before his face went emotionless with narrowed eyes as he grabbed my neck and easily pulled me off the ground.
"how dare you get close to what is mine?!" he yelled, shaking me.
"doesn't matter..... I'll take you to meet that father of yours"
and I was knocked out by the man..... now understanding that it was Shadow's father that caught me... and this was hell.....
Shadow's pov:
I easily ended the gargoyle, they weren't the hardest to kill.
Helix howled in sadness and Kara flew around while I sat there, crying my eyes out for the first time in years, because I had let Emma fall... I killed her... I KILLED HER!!!!
Kara and Helix nuzzled me and I looked at them.
"I'll take good care of you, I promise" I choked out and put Kara on my shoulder with Helix in my arms....
heading back towards the school as the recall beams started to light up, they could be seen from far and I followed the purple one back.
how will I tell everyone Emma is gone?
how will I convince myself she's gone?
I can't do it.....

I'm not even dead... but I'm already in hell.... someone help.....
