My P.O.V
I woke up to find myself in a hospital, surrounded by 5 familiar faces. I tried to sit up but my head started to pound like a someone angrily hitting a hammer. My head was also spinning.

"She's awake". I could here one of them say.

"Wha...what happened". I asked.

They looked at each other with unsure faces. Toothless whimpered.

"Well, we're not to sure Toothless lead us into the woods where we found you lying there". Sid said.

'The woods what was I doing there?'. I asked myself.

"Well at least you awake, otherwise...well Toothless was really worried about you". Mrs McCarthy said. "Do you remember what happened?". She asked.

I sat there for a bit trying to remember, but I couldn't remember anything that happened, or why I was in the woods.

Suddenly I could see someone rush in, it was the Inspector. He quickly pushed Sid out of the way, Sid gave him a look of what's the big idea.

Inspector Mallory had a very worried look on his face, the same as Sid.

"What happened here?, who did this?". Mallory was giving twenty questions at once.

My head started to spin again, as I went to hold the back of it. I soon found out where the pain was.

"Inspector calm down, your just as worried as we are". Father brown said.

"Worried?, I'm not worried I'm just doing my job Padre". He replied.

Sid rolled his eyes. The Goodfellow came in, surprised to see the inspector here so quick.

"Right, you'll all need to clear the area, while I'm going to ask some questions". Inspector Mallory demanded.

Lady Felicia, Mrs McCarthy and Father Brown went and left. Toothless and Sid stayed behind.

"That means you Sid". The inspector said.

Sid got up in a huff. Goodfellow pulled out his notebook and pen. While the inspector knelt down so we were eye level.

"Can you tell me anything?". He asked.

I tried to remember again, but nothing was coming to me so I shook my head.

"Where were you?". Was the next question.

"I really know, but Sid said something about woods". I replied.

Goodfellow was afraid. "Sir, do you think the woods is haunted? I mean lots of bad things have happened there, like the...witches and -".

"No Goodfellow the woods isn't haunted, you and your imagination". The inspector said. "Why were you in the woods?".

I shrugged. "Maybe Toothless can tell you". But I knew they wouldn't understand him.

Toothless made his little small roars forming them into sentences, I began to translate as I normally do, but...I couldn't.

"Well". Mallory said starting to get impatient.

"I...I can't understand Toothless anymore". I sadly said.

Why couldn't I understand him, over a period of time riders begin to understand their dragons, but I couldn't.

Inspector Mallory stood up, and shoved his hands in his pockets giving me a look of disappointment.

"You do know we can't help you unless you tell us". He said before walking off.

"Don't you worry I'm sure you memory will come back as well as your translating". Goodfellow said before walking off as well.

Toothless looked at me in confusion, I shrugged. I went to lie down back in the hospital bed and sighed, why do bad things always happened to me?

Father Brown soon came back in with Sid. All I wanted to do now was sleep and hope this was just a nightmare.

"The nurses say, you'll be in here till tomorrow afternoon". The father said.

I groaned.

"But Sid and I will look after Toothless, if you're ok with?". The father continued.

I nodded, then I gave Toothless a look, which said behave yourself. Sid began to talk but I pretended to go to sleep, I just couldn't deal with this now.

"Will find out who did this don't you worry". Sid said reassuringly.

I nodded again then closed my eyes. I think they got the signal, then left me on my own. Where I was trying to remember what excaulty happened.
