The Return of Flambeau (#2 in the series)

Confession

Meanwhile in Kembleford
Lady Felicia woke up, to find that Flambeau had gone. She sighed as she felt guilty, but slightly glad at the same time.

"It shouldn't of happened." She mumbled to herself, as she was getting ready. "If only I stopped myself from the beginning."

Lady Felicia wanted to tell someone, and she did not want me to find out. Making her way downstairs, Sid wasn't there to drive her to Kembleford so one of the servants had to do it.

At the presbytery
Slow and uneasy drive, the servant wasn't used to driving. Lady Felicia's morning wasn't going so well, she walked in to find that no one was there.

"Maybe he's in the church." She said.

So she walked out, to go down to St. Mary's. Father was sitting in his side of the Confessional box, waiting to see if anyone would show up but so far no one. He was about to get out when he heard someone get in.

"Father, it's me." Said a soft voice.

"Felicia?" Father Brown asked.

"What on ever do you want to confess, surely we can discuss over a cup of tea." The father suggested, well mainly it was his excuse to have tea.

"Ok, well it all happened last night." Lady Felicia began.

The priest nodded, trying to figure out how to put the kettle on.

"Flambeau visited." She went to continue.

Father Brown dropped the kettle, it smashed as it hit the floor. He looked at Felicia a bit worried.

"Then he kept saying I loved him, when I don't. He wouldn't stop going on about it, till I gave in it which led to more." Felicia started again.

Father Brown then thought about why Flambeau went to visit her? and why in the night?

"But I do have to say, it was very good in bed." She added.

The priest raised him eyebrows in shock. "But why did visit you?"

"Well now that I realise it, I think he wanted to get information from me."

"About who?"

Lady Felicia didn't want to say, but she knew she had to say.

"It was about the Girl, and Toothless."

Father Brown had never heard such a thing, and he was even more surprised at Lady Felicia. He didn't know what she said, but he assume it must of been enough for Flambeau to figure out the rest.

"I have to tell her." Father Brown informed.

"No! Just think what will happen." Lady Felicia shouted.

"Felicia you might of just put her life at risk. More importantly her and Toothless." The Father Replied.

Just like that he rushed out of the door. Leaving Lady Felicia by herself at the table until Toothless came down. The Night Fury yawned then stretched, before he made a small roar asking what happened.

Lady F didn't understand him, but he told Toothless exactly what she told the Father. Toothless started to growl at her before rushing out of the door to warn me.
