Chapter 10 Redone

Tying the blindfold at the back of my head, I covered my eyes so I couldn't see anything. "I'm ready whenever you are Kimberly."

I stood there for a few moments waiting for her reply when I feel the wind brush against my right side with a little more force than normal. I step to the left just in time to hear the whirring sound of metal. Listening to the air for any movement or slight sound to tell me where the next attack was coming from, I feel a rush of air against my back. Ducking then rolled to the right as air current comes down hard and fast on my left. Flipping backward onto my feet, I feel a rush of air slamming in my face. Throwing up my hand just in time for a fist to connect with it, she pulls her hand back as I let go. Air whirrs around my legs and I jump clearing whatever was aiming at my legs. If I had to guess that was Kimberly trying to sweep me off my feet. Not feeling anything, I connect with the air around me, trying to feel for any movement. The slightest tug was moving just away from me. I knew then Kimberly jumped away. I hear her grunt in frustration. Swinging out, letting the air currents be my guide, my fist came in contact with hers. Stepping back I kicked out aiming for her head following the wind that was flowing around her and missed. Sucking my teeth in frustration, she must have ducked. I decided I need to do something else to end this fast. Feeling the air start to circle around and tug at my clothes told me that Kimberly was on the move. Taking a chance to summoned vines but had them stay underground for the time being. I feel for the wind to lead towards where Kimberly was. I kept my power connected in the wind to help me keep a track of Kimberly. Walking closer to where the wind was telling me; I feel a strong push of air heading towards my stomach I threw my hands down fast coming in contact with her hand inches from my stomach. I let out a low growl as I push her backward. Swinging right then left a few times each time feeling as the wind pulls back as Kimberly took a step backward. Wind brushes against me on my right, I step to the left. Kick at her with my right foot to push her backward once more. Just a little more I couldn't help but think. I ducked fast, out of self-preservation, as I felt the air currents near my head are filled with heat. It had such a dark almost evil energy to it my Dragon Fire rises up wanting to be in the fight. Knowing right away what it was my anger rose so fast I felt my blood lust leak a little. I took a deep cooling breath from the cool air, I summoned without thinking, knowing I had to calm down before I accidentally kill someone. "You did not just use Hell Fire on me, Kimberly?" I said as calm as I could but anger was seeping through. I felt her step back through the rumble of the earth out of fear right where my vines were lying and waiting. I lifted my hand up. Silencing the air closest to the ground; right before the vines burst through the ground as they wrapped around her legs then her arms stopping her completely; gave Kimberly no chance to run away.

"Alright, I give. I could get out of your little vines here, but I believe we made out point." Kimberly said as I took my blindfold off.

"True," I was still steaming from her Hell Fire she used. "Now Billy, do you now understand what I mean by Air Currents?" I asked Billy while twisting my fingers to let Kimberly go. The vines curled in on themselves, shrinking back underground.

"Yeah, I think I do now. I am definitely going to start truly listening to what you and Kimberly say," Billy said sounding earnest.

"Well, we ain't telling you for our benefit." Kimberly sarcastically said while she sat down. I glared at her saying 'really' with my eyes. She threw up her hands saying 'what.' I just shook my head.

"Sis, your control is amazing! Sitting here watching the two of you was eye-opening. The moment Kimberly used her Fire on you, your whole demeanor changed. For just a moment I could have sworn I felt blood lust in the air. Then I watched you breathe and relaxed then the blood lust was gone. You moved your hand up then Kimberly was caught in your vines. I've never seen you control your anger that fast. Whenever you and dad got in an agreement you would blow up on him." Scott said in complete shock.
