Chapter 5 redone

We were within a few hundred yards when I leaned over and pat Ragoth's neck. "I see them."

"I do as well, My Lady."

"Would you mind landing in front of them? I'm going to let Kimberly know that we are going to be landing in front of them so she can stop the group."

I reached for Kimberly's mind. "Kimberly."

"Yeah?"

"I need you to stop the group. Ragoth and I are about to land in front of y'all."

"Okay." I heard her tell everyone that they needed to stop before I completely cut the link.

Ragoth landed a good dragon length in front of the group. Most of the horses wanted to run away, they were trying to move but their riders wouldn't let them. The horses also see that both Jasmine and Temper were just standing there. Though I did have a feeling that Temper was following Jasmine's lead on this. It seems she is the lead mare and he is the head stallion that protects the herd.

I got down from Ragoth and nodded to my brother. He understood what I meant and unhooked Jasmine from his lead rope. Jasmine jogged up to me and greeted me. "Hey, girl. Did you miss me?" I whispered to her. She nuzzled my neck in response. I laughed. The next thing she did shock me. Jasmine walked over to Ragoth and greeted her as well. I knew then that Jasmine knew me from beforehand but I wasn't sure from where. I felt Ragoth start talking to Jasmine, but I couldn't hear what was being said. Just by the way Jasmine acted, I could tell that and horse and a dragon that had the same rider would be able to talk to each other and the horse would not be afraid of the dragon.

"So did you get done what you needed to handle?" Kimberly asked.

"Yeah, I did. Brent is safe and is looking for other Dragon Knights. He is also keeping an eye out for me on the Dragon Hunter hunt as well. I'm thinking about setting up a Dragon Knight and Rider school. That way anyone who is young and is not sure what to do, can learn from more experienced people. Even from me, when I have the time." I told her thoughtfully.

"That makes sense. We are not sure if we are either going to make it home or end up staying here yet or even how long we will even be here."

"Yep plus with us still trying to figure out how to survive here as well. There will be those who are going to get a rude awakening on life here. So those of us who have an idea about what is going on is going to have to step it up, and lead and protect." I started to include everyone on mine and Kimberly's conversation. "I was thinking maybe once we have y'all trained on how to use your powers maybe you could either teach or travel and protect people. But it is up to y'all on how you want to use your powers because it is a big responsibility. For now, just keep it in mind and decide when we get to that point." I could see the boys thinking about it. Audrey was thinking hard but I had a feeling that whatever her path was ahead of her, she would protect the weak of all, humans, dragon, and animals. That was once she got out from underneath her brother. Scott, I wasn't sure if he would travel or not but I did know that he would end up doing something that to protect the people in the area he was in. Mark something told me he would travel and protect as well, he was about to go into the Air Force back at home on Earth. So most likely he would end up being a Rider as well. Billy, I wasn't sure what he would do, he was still coming to terms with magic being real. David would teach, though I wasn't sure if it would be under me or somewhere else. That would depend on how we would work out in the long run. Kimberly would most like travel I sensed, but I still wasn't quite sure. "Whatever y'all choose it is up to you." I see most of them nod absent-mindedly at me.

I turned around to Ragoth to tell her goodbye. She nodded respectfully and left us to go wherever she wanted. Jasmine walked over to when Ragoth went to lift off. Everyone had to grab on to anything that was a little loose. Some of the horse moved side to side a little bit, but most stayed still. Once everyone was settled I said as I was getting onto Jasmine. "Alright let's go see who else we can find."
