Dear Edie,

It'll be Valentine's Day when you get this, so I went ahead and made you a card and wrote you a poem. But it's in German so you will not know what it says until I tell you what it says.

It's been just over two months since your last letter arrived. I'm really worried about you. Are you okay? Is it me, did I say something wrong? I'm sorry if I did. Did something happen?

Please, write me back.

I miss reading your letters.

But on a lighter note, I do have some good news. We met a man called David Jost, who arranged for the band to meet with Interscope Records so I really think that this time we will get signed. But if we do get signed then we will be really busy. Don't worry though, I'll never be to busy for you, I promise.

I really really really hope that you will reply. Please reply. Even seeing a sealed envelope with your writing on it has me so excited and happy that the guys make fun of me, but I don't care. Andreas teases me the worst. All the time. Last night he took my mobile phone and sent text messages to everyone in my contacts list, telling them I had a secret girlfriend I didn't want anyone to find out about. Then he had the nerve to laugh at me as I punched him.

I have to go see him and then I will mail you this letter.

Your friend,

Billy
