I do not own Life is Strange or any of its characters, and I apologize to some of you for what I'm about to do.

"Come on, girl. You need to get some sun!" Dana said as she opened the blinds of your window.

"Yeah, stop moping, it's depressing as hell." said Juliet, fishing around in your closet.

You sat on your bed, wrapped in a blanket and drinking cocoa from a mug Ned had gotten you that said 'For Fox's Sake!' with a little cartoon of a fox on it. You frowned, looking over at her. "I'm not moping.. And what are you looking for? There's not really anything in there."

"You're telling me. God, don't you have anything party worthy?" She groaned, tossing old t-shirts out left and right. You rolled your eyes and sipped your cocoa as Dana plopped down next to you on the bed, looking at some of your paintings hanging on the wall.

"Man girl, you're talented. Are you an art major or something?" She asked, and you shrugged. "I don't really know, its more of a hobby I think. I don't know what I want to do, really."

"Well we know what you're doing tonight. You're coming to the Vortex Club party with Dana and me." Juliet said, walking over and plopping down on the other side of you.

"It's been what? A week since Chloe asked you out? And you haven't given her an answer yet? I think that speaks for itself. So, we're going to test the waters a bit." She started.

"Come with us to the party. It'll be fun! It'll take your mind off of it, and maybe you'll meet someone else, and you'll decide Chloe's not for you. Or, maybe you'll decide to just screw it-" Dana added.

"-and Chloe." Juliet finished with a wink.

You shook your head, but found yourself grinning despite yourself. "You guys are ridiculous... Alright, count me in."

They both cheered and crushed you in a double-sided hug, Dana hopping up and pulling you to your feet, Juliet taking your blanket and mug.

      "Hey-"

"Suck it up, buttercup. Okay, first things first, your outfit." Dana grinned, and you mentally chided yourself for entertaining this.

Two and a half hours later after making you shower, picking out your outfit, doing your hair nails and makeup, and a quick tutorial on how to walk in heels before settling on wedges, you were ready to go.

The three of you made it to the party without any trouble, and you were a little overwhelmed to say the least. You had never actually been to a party, having been home schooled since the third grade, when Ned and Patty took you in. It was loud and bright yet dark at the same time, there was an overwhelming smell of weed, which you could identify from your time with Chloe.

No. You shook your head. You weren't going to think about her right now. You were going to have fun.

It wasn't long however until Juliet and Dana left you to your own devises. You couldn't blame them not wanting to babysit you the whole night. You found an empty space by the back wall and stood there, watching the party play out.

"Hey, waaassup?" You turned to see a very drunk looking young man, holding two solo cups. "You look thirsty, here you go! Drink up, girly." He hiccuped, handing you one before winking and staggering away. You raised an eyebrow before shrugging and lifting the cup to your lips, only to have someone yank it out of your hands.

"Are you crazy? You don't just drink something you get handed at a party, especially a Vortex Club party, unless you're trying to get shit-faced and date-raped." You turned to look at who had snatched your drink, but found yourself looking up at a giant.

She sighed and the lights caught her just right. The breath hitched in your throat. Waves of strawberry blonde locks tumbled down porcelain pale skin dotted lightly in freckles, two bright blue eyes shined down at you, the structure of her jawline and cheekbones took away the breath you were holding. She stood almost a foot taller than you, in flats

"Hey.. are you okay?" She asked, putting a hand on her shoulder. You shook your head, regaining your composure.

"Y-yeah. Yeah I'm good.. Um, sorry.. about the drink.. I um.. " You tried to explain, but stopped, realizing how lame you would sound. She smiled, the action sending butterflies through your stomach.

"Let me guess, you've never been to a party before?" You nodded and her smile grew as she ran a hand through her hair and looked down at you. "Yeah, I um.. I could tell. This doesn't really seem like your scene."

You shook your head. "Not really, no.. Dana and Juliet wanted me to come..."

She nodded. "So do you have a name, party virgin?" She teased, and you looked away, hoping the pulsing lights would hide your blush.

"Y/N." You said, extending your hand to her. "Y/N L/N."

"Danny." She said, shaking it happily. "Danny Lawrence."

"Say, um, do you want to get out of here? It's kind of loud." She asked, and you nodded as she extended her arms for you to take. You smiled and linked your arm through hers.

"I'll walk you back to your dorm, just show me the way."

You smiled. "My knight in shining.. denim.." You chuckled, looking at her high waisted jeans. She chuckled to herself and the two of you got to talking on the way back to your room. She was a Lit TA and you would have her next term, she was an Ares, she had a few hobbies, she was single, etc..

The two of you stopped at your room, and you opened the door. "Thank you, for walking me home." You said, and she smiled.

"Anytime, it was nice getting to know you a bit. Hey um, do you want to go get coffee with me tomorrow? I'd love to talk some more." She asked, and your heart did flips in your chest.

"O-oh, um, sure. Yeah, I'd love that.." You said, biting you lip. Danny smiled and you waved as she walked down the hallway before you closed your door with a contented sigh.

      "Ahem."

You groaned, the moment ruined as you turned to see Chloe standing in the middle of your room. "Chloe-" You said in a warning tone.

She walked over to you. "Who the fuck was that?"

You crossed your arms, frowning at her. "Danny. We're getting coffee tomorrow."

"I see, so I ask you out and you ignore me for a week, but Ginger Snap over there flashes you seduction eyes and you give yourself up as a virgin sacrifice?" She glared and you pinched the bridge of your nose.

"Seduction eyes? Chloe, I told you I needed time. Let me have some time to think about things and decide who I want to be with."

"Am I going to have to persuade you?" She asked huskily, stepping closer to you and pulling you towards her. You looked up at her just as she connected her lips with yours. You tried to fight it for a moment, before your eyelids drooped and you ran your fingers through her hair, groaning as she swung you around and pushed you up against the wall, her hands sliding up your dress. Clumsily you slapped your hand against the wall, searching for the light switch, which was promptly flipped off as Chloe hefted you up into her arms and carried you over to the bed.
