I do not own Life Is Strange or any of its characters, nor do I own Carmilla or any of its characters. And I don't care that its June, in the story its November, you're getting a thanksgiving chapter whether you like it or not, lol.

You stood in front of the mirror in Chloe's bathroom, fixing your hair while Chloe got dressed. She had insisted that you not see her outfit until it was time to go, and while a part of you was slightly worried, you were sure she'd pick something nice.

You yourself were dressed in an auburn sweater dress, black tights and red wedges to match the little red and yellow leaves sewn into the bottom of your dress, your hair piled high in a braided bun. You wore minimal makeup, but still more than you would on a given day. You fixed the last stray hair just as Chloe hollered from her room that you could come in.

You left the bathroom, walking into the bedroom to stop, smiling at the sight of her. Chloe wore a white button-up dress shirt and an auburn tie loose around her neck, her sleeves rolled up to her elbows. She wore black skinny jeans and a pair of red converse to match the hair tie holding her hair back in a little ponytail.

"Well?" She asked, spreading her arms out at her sides. "Is this good?"

You smiled and walked over to her, reaching up on your tip-toes and pressing a gentle kiss to her lips as you started to fix her tie. She smiled and wrapped her arms around your waist, pulling you close. You finished adjusting her tie and pulled away, looking up at her. "I'll take that as a yes?" She chuckled and you stepped away, taking her hand in yours.

"Come on, or we'll be late." The two of you left her house, hopping in her truck and driving down to the Two Whales Diner. As you stepped inside you saw Nathan already sitting in booth, dressed handsomely in a navy blue suit and tie. He stood once he saw you, a small smile forming on his face.  He stepped out the booth just as the door opened and in walked Danny, dressed in a light blue fit and flare dress with matching flats and a shawl.

You smiled at her as she came in, walking over to her. "I'm not late, am I?" She asked, tucking a stray hair behind her ear. You shook your head. "No, you're good."

She smiled and walked past you, nodding at Chloe who nodded back, seeming to have an understanding. She walked over and introduced herself to Nathan, and the two of them held a conversation as Joyce came out from the kitchen holding plates and silverware. Chloe walked over and took some, helping her mother set the large table in the middle of the dinner, which was several plastic party tables bought by Nathan, covered in an adorable thanksgiving turkey print cloth you had found.

As the places were being set, the door opened again and in walked Patty and Ned, carrying several different pie tins and casserole dishes. You walked over and greeted them, Chloe taking the food and setting it over on the table as you gave each of them a hug. Once everything was on the table, Chloe walked over to your parents and firmly shook Ned's hand, and was prepared to do the same for Patty when the older woman enveloped her in a hug.

The blue haired girl was surprised at first but warmed up to it, hugging your foster mother back. After pulling away from Chloe, Patty and Ned smiled and went over to talk with Nathan and Danny.

Finally, the door opened one last time, revealing David in tweed suit, clean shaven and shuffling awkwardly from foot to foot. Joyce smiled and walked over, kissing him on the cheek and leading him over to the table. You smiled and took Chloe's hand in your own, entwining your fingers.

From over by Nathan you noticed Danny glancing at your entwined hands, a frown on her face. Once she noticed you looking she gave you a small smile and took a seat beside Nathan, who grinned at her and said something that made her crack a smile.

Everyone gathered around the table and took a seat. Danny sat to the right of Nathan, while you and Chloe sat to the right of her, Patty, Ned, David and Joyce sitting on the opposite side of the table. You all joined hands and said grace, thankful for your each other and the experiences and time you've spent together.

You let go of each other's hands and begin dishing out the food. Pecan pies and pumpkin pies and stuffing and cranberry sauce, ham and turkey and peas and mashed potatoes lined the table. You were all enjoying yourselves, eating and talking when the door opened and someone laughed from outside.

Heels clicked in the doorway and came to a stop as a woman in a tank top and ripped jeans strode in, a half-empty bottle of vodka in her hand. "Y/N.. I'm offended! You didn't invite your own mother! How passe.." She cackled and you squeezed Chloe's hand.

"Let's eat." Your mother said, grinning deviously.
