I do not own Life is strange or any of it's character. I do not own Carmilla or any of its characters, I'm just a tiny gay.
You sat at the little table outside the coffee shop, sipping nervously from your cup as you waited for Danny. The minutes passed and before long you contemplated leaving, when from the distance you spotted her jogging towards you. You sighed in relief, glad she hadn't stood you up. As she got closer you could her her hair was hanging damply down her shoulder, and she was wearing what you assumed to be her work out clothes.
You blushed and tore your gaze away from her booty-shorts and crop-top, looking down at your coffee.
"Oh my god, I'm so sorry I'm late!" She exclaimed, coming to a halt beside your table. "I was working out and I didn't realize-" You cut her off with a small smile. "It's okay, Danny. Sit, lets talk, like you wanted."
She nodded, taking the seat across from you. "So.. tell me about your self?" She asked, and you shrugged. "Like.. what?"
"Well, I don't know? What's your favorite color?" You couldn't help but smile. "Really?"
"What?" She laughed. "I'm being serious! Just-.. little things. I'd like to take my time getting to know you, find things out along the way." She smiled at you, and you felt butterflies swarm in your stomach.
"F/c." You said, taking a sip of your coffee. She nodded, waving a server over and ordering a scone.
"Alright," She said, turning to you. "Now here's an important one: chocolate ice cream or vanilla?"
You shook your head. "Neither I'm a 'cookies and creme' kinda girl." You chuckled and she nodded. "I should've known, I pegged you for a 'both' kinda girl."
"Well that's where you're wrong." You winked, and she laughed. "So you were working out, huh?" You raised an eyebrow as a blush grew on her pale freckled cheeks. "Yeah, actually I'm pretty gross right now, I would've gone home and showered but I didn't want you to think I was standing you up."
"In all honesty, I was thinking about leaving when you didn't show at first." You told her, and she pursed her lips. "I'm really so-"
"Don't apologize, it's all good." You assured her, standing up. "Do you wanna head to your place so you can shower real quick? I took a fitness class last summer, and I remember how sticky it feels after."
"Yeah, actually, that sounds great. Do you wanna go do something after?" She sighed in relief, standing and running a hand through her damp hair. You nodded and she paid for her scone before the two of you set off to her apartment.
Once Danny was showered and dressed, the two of you decided to go see the new Wonder Woman movie playing at the local cinema. She bought the tickets and you bought the snacks before the two of you found your theater and chose seats right in the middle. You were both entranced by the film, watching and sharing popcorn and candies and a large soda between the two of you.
Around the middle of the movie you turned and looked over at Danny, who in turn was looking at you. You smiled a bit and she reached a hand over, hesitating a moment as her hand hovered next to yours. You pursed your lips and took her hand in yours. She smiled and gave your hand a gentle squeeze before you both turned to look at the screen.
As the movie finished and the credits began to roll, the two of you sat there waiting for the lights to come back on. "Wow." Danny said, looking at you. "Now that was amazing."
You nodded. "Yeah, they did a great job. I wasn't disappointed in the least, which is new for me when it comes to super hero movies."
She processed this a moment before grinning. "Wait... are you.. a comic buff?" You blushed, looking away. "I may or may not collect a select few comics...."
Danny shook her head, smiling. "You're adorable." You pouted before standing up.
She walked you home and the two of you shared your favorite parts of the movie, your favorite characters, etc. Needless to say it had been the best day you'd had in a while, and your first amazing date.
Your dream that night was less than amazing.
