      "Alright.. We're here.." Ned said as the three of you pulled into the driveway. Patty gave your hand a squeeze as she was sitting in the back seat with you. You looked out the window at the cute suburban neighborhood, lined with big, nicely decorated houses, kids playing in the streets, it was a paradise.  

      Ned parked the car in the driveway and stepped out, opening the door for you. He offered you his hand, and hesitantly, you took it. You hopped out of the car and looked up at the house, big and white with pillars and a front yard and a porch and everything. You stared for a moment before Ned and Patty both got on their knees in front of you. 

      "Y/N... This is your home now. We want you to feel comfortable, and know that you're safe here with us.." Patty said with a soft smile. You gave a little smile and nodded, and they stood up, each taking one of your hands and welcoming you into your home for the next 10 years. 

      That house would see birthdays, sleepovers, long home school days and lazy weekends, and the most tear-filled day. 10 years to the day exactly you left the house, off to college, ready for new experiences and a new life.
