I do not own Life is Strange or any of its characters, I'm just extremely gay for Chloe.

The waitress from behind the counter noticed you sitting with the blue-haired girl, and promptly started walking towards the two of you with a pot of coffee.

"And who do we have here?" She asked, and you noticed the drawl in her voice as she turned her gaze to you. Not good at making good first impressions, you stumbled over your words as usual.

"Y/n. Uh, um I mean- L/n, I-I mean Y/n L/n..." You blushed with embarrassment, looking down at the table. The waitress let forth a deep chuckle, placing a mug of steaming black coffee in front of you.

"Don't you worry none, I just served your parents, and they say ya'll are moving down here to Arcadia Bay?" She asked, and you nodded, staring down at your coffee. The waitress took this as the time to change the topic. "I'm Joyce, and I see you've already met my daughter Chloe." She said with a nod in the blue haired girl's direction. You looked up from the porcelain mug to look at the girl across from you, only to find her staring at you as well.

Joyce took this as her cue to leave, giving you a soft smile before retreating to the counter. "I'll get you something to eat, sugar."  You bit your lip, nodding in gratitude as you felt your stomach rumble quietly. You took a sip of the coffee before setting it back down.

"So, Y/n huh? Can i call you N/n?" The bluenette, Chloe, asked as she leaned back in the booth, arms behind her head. You blushed again, not used to the forwardness, although, you never were if you were being honest. You were never sure how to act around other people, you were really just very very awkward. You simply shrugged, realizing you hadn't answered her question. From their seats at the bar, your foster parents could see you struggling, but you refused to let them intervene. That would just be even more embarrassing.

You shot a look their way as if to say, 'I'm fine!', and turned your eyes back to Chloe, who was smoking another cigarette. "So, why come to Arcadia Bay, huh? What could a nice girl like you want in a shit-hole like this?" You panicked, and blurted out the first thing that came to mind.

"I-I'm an a-artist! I-I think it's... real, here..." You flush once again, realizing how stupid that must sound, but Chloe just looks intrigued. "I guess, when you put it like that, it makes sense." She shrugged and took a drag. Joyce returned then with a burger and fries, placing the plate in front of you. "Eat up, hon." She said with a smile. You smiled softly back as she went back behind the bar.

For the next fifteen minutes you ate dinner and conversed with the bluenette, slowly becoming less awkward. "So, where you stayin'?" She asked, putting out her third cigarette of the evening.

You shrugged and finished off your coffee. You honestly didn't know. You and your foster parents were hoping to find a hotel while the movers finished furnishing your home, and you were going to be a student at the college so you'd have your own dorm room once it was set up properly. Until then though, you didn't know what would happen. You told her so and she just grinned, before getting up and walking over to your side of the booth, plopping down next to you and draping an arm around your neck.

You flushed, staring up at her as even when sitting down she was several inches taller than you. "Come stay at my place, it'll be hella fun."

You pondered this, and looked over at your parents, they had matching expressions of both nervousness and excitement. Your step father nodded with a little smile, and you smiled back. "Okay, why not..?"
