Not Safe~

Feeling the world around him begin to shatter he didn’t know how to feel, hearing El explain how things weren’t safe made his heart fall into an empty place. He had just gotten El back, he didn’t want to lose her all over again. He looked to El. “E-el are you sure?” she looked to him. “Yes I’m sure.” Mike looked down at his feet an had his hand by his sides all while trying to wrap his head around it all. “El I don’t think I can take losing you again. I’d honestly rather die.” He said while looking down. El walked over towards him, feeling guilty an feeling a pain she never had felt before. “M-mike I’m sorry. None of this was supposed to happen the way it did, you were never meant to find me in those woods. If you hadn’t of met me… maybe you wouldn’t be hurting so much!” She shouted in fear. Mike got down on his knees in front of El, grabbing her hands with his own an he looked up to her, with tears in his eyes as all he could think about was having to say goodbye. “El meeting you wasn’t a mistake, my life is different now that your in it. Ever since I met you my heart became another’s an I know I am young but love doesn’t have to be. You aren’t the monster El, you protected us an you brought Will back! If we didn’t find you Will would be dead right now.” He cried. El’s eyes widened as she then knelt down in front of Mike. “Listen Mike, I don’t want to disappear an I truly don’t  wanna leave your side but if it comes to the point where I have to, just to keep you an everyone else safe then I will. I can’t stand an do nothing so I’ll fight if I have to.” She smiled an leaned in to kiss his cheek. He looked up at her as she was getting up but he grabbed her arm an stopped her. “Don’t go…not yet…just don’t leave please never leave El! I just got you back an your willing to leave again! Do you know how much pain I was in when I thought it was my fault you were gone! Do you know how much I looked for you or how much I laid in your fort just thinking of you. Not a single day went by where I didn’t cry while thinking of you, you made me happy, you make me happy an  I don’t want you to disappear on me again. You shouldn’t have to go! It’s not fair! It’s just not fair!” He screamed an cried. El was in shock, her arm beginning to hurt by how tight mike was holding on an then Mike pulled her close into his embrace an she felt his tears on her shoulder, the loud vibration from his crying in her ear. “M-mike…” She spoke softly and he squeezed tighter. “No Eleven! Not again!...”He whimpered.  El held him as well, the tears beginning to fall from her cheeks. “Okay Mike…okay.” She stood an let him cry in her arms, his emotions pouring onto her leaving her without words. She listened to his sniffles an his heavy breaths. To the slight screaming an  the fear within his trembling voice.
