There was a lot of things that Mike was feeling an sadness was only really one of them.  No matter how many times El swore she wasn’t going to leave he just couldn’t believe her, losing her was one of the worst pain’s he  ever felt, especially since she’s his first love. Mike wanted to be happy all the time again but how could he? with the Upside Down an the knowledge that the world isn’t safe for him anymore. Knowing that there are monsters, monsters that would stop at nothing to take another child an he didn’t want to be one of them but he didn’t want El to be either. Mike just wanted things to go back to normal, when he didn’t know about the Upside Down an Will never got taken but he still wanted to meet El somehow. Dustin an Lucas want Mike to be happy, want him to see the brighter side of all that has happened but he wonders if they know the monsters are still out there, that the upside down is now coming into their world. “Mike!” Dustin shouted. Mike jumped an blinked a couple times. What?! Dustin!” He shouted back. “You were just sitting there staring at nothing. What’s up man?” Dustin asked. Mike just sat there not being able to help but get lost in all his thoughts, the pain, the anger, the crying all came back to him an his heart became numb. He stared blankly into nothingness, feeling El’s arms wrap around his shoulders he felt nothing but more sadness. He thought of the morning before an how him an El made Eggo’s together. He tried to smile but he knew all good things came to an end eventually, his fear of losing El could no longer subside because she meant the world to him. Yes they may have started off as friends an Mike may have found her in the wood’s while it was raining but for the first time he got to take care of someone, someone who was lost, someone who needed someone an he was that someone for El. Mike laid his hand on El’s as her hand was still on his shoulder. “I’m sorry but I just cant be that happy person… because I know this isn’t over an I know that you might leave again. The Upside Down is still out there an my life just isn’t the same.” He spoke with such emptiness.  El looked to him, knowing that he was right but still she didn’t want him to be so unhappy. “Mike, we can defeat the bad men together. All of us can.” She spoke looking at Dustin, Lucas an Will. “But what if we can’t.” He said softly. “We will mike! If El can save my life then anything is possible! No one would have believed us before, Nancy, Jonathan or my mom. They wouldn’t have even listened if we told them about the Upside Down because none of us thought that it was possible for something like the Vale Of Shadows to exist. Anything is possible Mike! Stop being this way! I was taken an I was scared but now that I’m with you guys again I’m okay. I love you guys.” Will looked down as tears fell from his cheeks. Mike smiled an got up from where he was an hugged Will tightly, everyone joining in not long after. “I’m sorry guy’s” Mike sounded ashamed. “It’s okay man.” Lucas said patting Mike on the shoulder. “It’s okay. Oh! Want some pudding?!” Dustin Smiled. El kissed Mike’s cheek. “Friends don’t lie…” She teared up. Will started singing. “If I go there will be trouble, should I stay or should I go.” Will sang an Mike, Dustin, Lucas an El all sang with him. “We are gonna be okay you guys.” Dustin smiled.
