Archie was laid on his bed mindlessly strumming on the strings of his guitar. Blake was sat on his floor, her back to the bed, reading through his lyrics for errors. To say Archie was nervous for the variety show would have been a huge understatement. He was scared shitless. Veronica being on stage with him was calming his nerves only slightly. Blake had promised to help him get ready for the show when she wasn't planning her trip to see Polly with Betty.

A knock-on Archie's doorframe pulled the twins out of their respective stupors. Fred smiled warmly at the pair as Archie sat up and they both looked at him.

"Hey, I just wanted to let you know, I, uh I bought tickets for all the guys at work to come see you in the Variety Show." Fred told Archie. Archie nodded but neither of them said anything; both of them knew their dad well enough to know something else was coming. "Yeah, me and Hermione We're gonna go together. With each other. I... I don't really know how to say this, and I don't want to make a too big a deal of it, but, uh..."

"Dad, it's okay. You're good." Archie assured him as the twin's smiles grew.

"Yeah?" Fred seemed unsure.

"Yeah. It's fine." Blake smiled.

"Good. Okay." Fred smiled. "I do like her, and I You know, I think maybe I'm ready." Fred said. It had been two years since their mum had moved out and neither of them were going to protest their dad's relationship.

"If this is something that makes you happy, then I think I can speak for both of us when I say go for it." Archie glanced at his sister who nodded.

"You're good. Mom's good. We're good." Blake added.

"All right." Fred smiled as he vacated the room.
