Katara just glared at him. "If you take a single step out of line, you won't need to worry about your destiny any more."
"I understand. I just want to tell you one thing: I am really sorry. I am sorry for kidnapping and attacking you and your friends, for tying you to a tree, and pretty much everything else. I really wanted to..." He was interrupted by Aang calling for Katara. She turns back to Zuko "Remember what I said." Then runs off to find Aang. 'Of course Aang had to ruin my apology to the one person I wanted to start over with.' He growled.
"Hey Aang. What did you need?"
"I was worried about you? And I was wondering if you need any help with dinner." He said embarrased, a blush spreading across his cheeks.
"I would love some help thanks. Could you get enough bowls and start a fire?"
"Uh. Katara I don't want to fire bend until I have a little more practice. I will get Zuko to start a fire." He starts to walk away.
"NO! Just get bowls I will get Sokka to start a fire." Katara yelled. "SOKKA! Come here." Sokka runs over.
"What is it Katara?" He sounded freaked out.
"Start a fire while I start the food."
"Why can't Zuko start a fire?"
"Because I asked you, now get on it." She said shooing him on. Sokka goes over and attempts to start a fire. Zuko walks to Katara.
"Hey Katara. Do you need any help?" Zuko asked cautiously. She ignores him. Sokka motions him over.
He whispered "Please start a fire. Katara doesn't want your help, but the rest of us do." Zuko starts a fire.
"Sokka if I ask you something would you answer me honestly?"
"Uh. I guess it really just depends. Don't get to serious on me now Flame-o."
"Um. Flame-o? Anyway, why does Katara hate me so much?" Zuko asked.
"Toph isn't the only one who gives nicknames. Katara doesn't hate you. She just resents you and pushes you away because of the crystal catacombes. What happened anyways?"
"Why doesn't she hate me? She offered to heal me but then I betrayed her."
"Oh. Ya Katara has this thing about people who betray or trick her so just lay low for a while. She will come around, she always does." Sokka gets up and goes back to cleaning his sword.
