The Cave Of Two Lovers

Chapter 10

If you are wondering why I updated so fast read the authors note at the end. If not then don't complain when I go missing. Sorry now onto the story.

"So it all started when I came to your village, Katara." The fire bender said turning to the girl. "I did some unforgivable things. I thought you were pretty cute for a peasant, but I was more focused on hunting Aang and brining him back home." He paused, taking a big breath. "Once you started traveling with him I thought he kept you with him for a cheerleader. But after fighting you so many times and the fact you were a pain and I couldn't get rid of you. I realized that you were very talented. Just watching you bend gave me chills, it fascinates me. You became someone I had to watch out for. Now I am happy that you're so forgiving and determined." Katara's cheeks glowed a deep crimson, Zuko looked like he was about to say something that would shock her, or change her in some way. "I think I started developing a crush on you once you stole the scroll. But I don't think I actually realized it until we were both prisoners in the cave and you offered to heal my scar. I didn't accept it until right before I came here though. And that is my story."

"Okay. Obviously there this is an easy decision." Aang said getting to the point.

"Decision. What am I deciding?" Katara asked very confused.

"Which one of you like better. It doesn't have to be an immediate decision." Zuko answered.

"But if the decision was made now that would be amazing." Aang added. Katara didn't know what to do. They both just confessed to liking her. Katara only liked Aang as a friend,little brother even, Katara remembered the fortune teller 'you're destined to fall in love with a powerful bender' she had said. Katara did like Zuko more than a friend, but how weird would it be. Water and fire. Polar opposites, and he was soon to be Fire Lord; she was only the chiefs daughter of a small tribe. She felt uneasy when she was reminded-by her mind, that Zuko was a powerful bender himself. During her thoughts Aang and Zuko had melted the ice that contained them. They were both slowly inching towards her.

"Honestly I..." Katara started, but then Jet came crashing towards them.

"We are under attack. It's Azula." After this all four of them raced back toward the camp.

The camp was encircled by soldiers, they found Azula questioning them, desperate to figure out where they are.

Okay I am posting this now because I probably won't update for a while and I feel bad. So I am giving you guys one post before I leave. I didn't want you to think I went missing. I am going to swim and run everyday so I hopefully make it on my team and my best friend and I guess co-owner is furious with me. (For reasons unknown.) so unfortunately you guys have to suffer.
