The Cave Of Two Lovers

Chapter 13

The Gaang

"Aang stop worrying. Zuko and Katara will get here fine." Toph said feeling his nervous vibes.

"What if they don't? We wouldn't even know if they got hurt or lost?" Aang replied.

"How about if they don't come back within three days one of us stays here while the others will go look for them?" Sokka suggested. "But if you, Aang, each time you express your worries we leave a half day later." Aang and Toph both agreed surprised that Sokka came up with a great plan. Jet just agreed. (This is the last time we will hear from the gaang for a little bit.)

With Zuko and Haru

Haru walked by Zuko. Zuko stood up and walked over to Haru. "Hey I need to speak with you about Katara. You two are evry close. Or at least you have been lately." 

"Ya like I said she saved my father and I. Then she left with the Avatar and I saw her here so we have been catching up. So what do you need to speak about?" 

"Just that you need to stay away from Katara. I believe that she is finally going to forgive me and you can't come and mess it up. So leave Katara alone so we can make amends." Haru stood stunned not knowing how to respond. Katara walked up to them. If only the two of them knew that this blue-eyed girl heard the entire conversation and how pissed she was at Zuko. How dare he try and make her friend leave her alone. 

"Hey guys. It is time for lunch." Katara said pretending she didn't hear anything. Katara turned and walked away. Zuko caught up to her and Haru stayed back. "Go ahead without me Zuko. Hey Haru come on. Don't be so slow." She then turned back, grabbed Haru's hand and pulled him along. During the entire way she didn't drop Haru's hand once, which upset Zuko even more. For the rest of the day Katara completely ignored Zuko and gave Haru her undivided attention. After dinner Zuko brought up the situation of leaving and meeting Aang and the others. 

"Katara, I think we should leave as soon as possible. How about we leave in the morning?"

"That sounds good. What do you think Haru?" He nodded. "You should come. Aang and Sokka will want to catch up with you." 

"Katara, I don't think this is a good idea." 

"Nonsense. I have a reason so Haru is coming. Now you have no choice." Katara replied and the conversation ended. In the morning Haru's father and mother gave the three of them money and food. Haru decided they should buy boat tickets to Ember Island. They walked over to the boat and they each bought tickets. They had one stop before they reached Ember Island. "Okay since this trip is a day and two nights. We have been given two rooms. So who bunks with who?" 

"Haru and I will bunk together and Katara can have her own room." Zuko replied. For the next couple hours Zuko took every moment to harass Haru. He tripped Haru, made fun of him at any moment and more. Haru was trying deciding whether he should leave or not when Zuko tripped him for the 47th time, he was counting. He decided on leaving at the next stop. Haru broke the news to Katara and she was upset, although it was mostly acting. She stood on the deck watching the waves lapping against the boat side. Zuko walks up to her and asks her what is wrong, she ignores him. 

"So I am going to guess that you overheard the conversation Haru and I had." She continued ignoring him. 

"Okay I am really sorry about that it's just that...I don't know. I really want you to forgive me so I can get back some of my honor." She was still mad at Zuko and continued to ignore him. Katara made a huge production of saying goodbye to Haru.

Oh look it is an elusive update. Okay here is chapter 13 although it is short.Sorry but at least it is something. Also this is mostly a filler chapter I guess. It has a lot of sumarizing.
