Chapter 21

The panchlet moved Z-O-Z- "we have to stop it!" Jake said. So we stopped it.

"Can I leave?" It moved to yes. So than I left.

Everyone asked to look through the panchlet but when it was Jakes turn to ask it said yes. So he picked it up and looked everywhere than he put it down and started to cry. "What's wrong?" I asked him.

"I think we should say goodbye." He said sniffing. Everyone asked no questions and said goodbye.

When we left I kept on asking what he saw but said nothing. "Jake I know you saw something you would not cry for no reason." I was getting worried. He just nodded no.

"Tess, do you feel okay?" Jake asked.

"Well my head hurts and I have a pressure in my chest. Why?" I asked.

"Go to the car Tess." Jake said.

But-" I was saying.

"Just go!" His voice now raised. I obeyed and sat in the car. Jake was talking to everyone but me. I thought we told each other everything.

We got home and no one talked the whole ride. When we got home I went to my room. Not Jakes mine. "Tessa come in my room you must be scared going to the asylum." Jake said coming closer to me.

"Jake your not telling me anything if you tell me what you saw than I will but if you aren't than I don't know." Jake just looked at me with a frown.

I went in my room and slept. Surprisingly I slept so good. I woke up this morning with no one pranking me or being pranked it was quiet.

I went downstairs and everyone was just sitting around the kitchen island talking in a hushed voice. "Hey guys!" I said tying to sound perky even though it was a scary night.

"Tessa we need to talk about last night." Jake said pulling me in the office for privacy. I followed him.

"Oh so now you'll tell me. Nice to know." I said sarcastically.

"I know you mad but his is hard to say so do not talk." I nodded. "Yesterday when I looked though the panchlet I looked at everyone than you, when I looked at you I saw you than something next to you. It's hard to explain but I think a demon is in you." Jake said.

"What am I supposed to do! Get it out Jake!" I said tearing up.

"We are finding someone to help but just don't be worried okay. I'm here for you." I smiled and hugged Jake.

When I came out of the office and everyone looked at me.

"I'm going out. Umm see yah." I said as I walked out the door. I took my car and just drove where ever I felt.

Than I got to the mountain with the Hollywood sign. Than I got a text.

Me:

Don't worry I'll be back soon.

Tessa where are you!

Me:

I have to go bye.

I felt kind of bad not telling Jake where I was. It was 12 in the morning and I finally decided to go back home.

When I got in the house I saw Jake waiting in the living room.

"Where were you!" He sounded angry.

"I was just sight seeing." I said walking up the stairs.

"Don't walk away from me in talking to you!" Jake said chasing me.

"Jake! I'm tired can't I go to sleep?" I yelled.

"No you can't. I'm talking to you! Do you know how worried I was?" He asked.

"Jake, I was on the Hollywood mountain trail thing looking around. I was not doing anything wrong."

"Well why did you leave?"

"I needed air."

"For 5 hours! Tell me the real reason."

"......"

"This is a waste I'm going to bed." He than walked into his room and I went into mine.
