Chapter 24

I woke up this morning feeling happy. I know it would be weird with Chance but I didn't care. I woke up than made breakfast.

"Hey Tessa." Jake said. Walking towards me to see what I was making.

"Hey," I said with a wide smile.

"Why are you smiling?" He said laughing and poking me.

"I don't know I'm just happy." I said.

"I wanted to talk to you about last night."

"Why? What about it?"

"You were crying Tessa. And now your happy."

"I forgot about all that I put that behind me. And I've been thinking about us mainly you."

"What do you mean?"

"Last night I could have kept on kissing Chance but I want you. And you left when I told you about it so I know you still have feelings for me."

"Tessa, I do still have feelings for you but we can't have an us. Let's be friends for the time being."

"No! I'm sorry Jake but I think I have to move out for a while." I was not crying. I understood that us being friends is reasonable but I love him too much.

I ran upstairs to my room and started to pack my bags.

"T! What are you doing?" Erika yelled running into my room.

"Rik I'm sorry. I'm moving in with Logan for a couple days or weeks. But don't tell anyone. I want you to visit me." I was balling in Erika's shoulder.

"But why are you leaving?" She was whispering in my ear.

"I can't stand seeing Jake and not having him be mine." I was calmer now. She nodded and helped me pack my bags and load them in the uber.

One I got to Logan's he helped me feel welcome. "This is your room." Logan said directing me to my room.

"Thank you for letting me stay here. How can I thank you?" I said hugging him.

"You don't have to thank me or do anything. But I have rules. Don't walk on the carpet with shoes and don't bring any guys over to smash or anything if one of your friends are coming over tell me. Okay?" I nodded thinking how thankful I was.

I than began to unpack but I got a call from Jake.

Jake: Where the hell are you Tessa!

Me: Don't worry Jake I'm okay. I'm just staying here for a little bit to clear my head.

Jake: But where are you!!!

Me: Don't worry bye Jake.

I than high up my phone and finished unpacking.

I heard a knock at my door, "Hey, wanna go out to get dinner?" Logan said scratching his neck.

"Yeah let me get dressed." I put on a black crop top and a pair of black leggings and put on my makeup and put on my white yeezes.

I went into the living room seeing Logan sitting on his phone. I than saw Kong so I decided to play with him for a little bit.

"He likes you." He said looking at me. I just smiled. "Ready to go?" He said.

"Yup." We took Logans car and than went to a place to eat.

We than started to talk about why I left.

"So are you still on the team?" Logan asked.

"Yeah I just need to get away for awhile." I said.

"From what?" Logan said with interest in his eyes.

"Jake." I said softly.

"Why? What's wrong?"

"So we used to date than we broke up because it was apparently stressful. So Jake asked for a break and than I told him how I felt the other day but he said that he just wants to be friends for the time being and I moved out."

"But why is you still like him."

"I don't like him I love him and if I see him I start to feel really sad knowing I can't go up and kiss him."

He held my hand that was resting on the table and I just smiled.

"I understand." Logan said.

We ate and I went straight to my room to get changed into my pajamas and went to the living room to see Logan watching T.V. "Hey can I join?" I asked.

"Yeah sure." He said patting the open spot next to him.

I must of fell asleep on the couch because when I woke up I was resting my head on Logans shoulder.
