Chapter 27

"Thanks Jake. It's really nice to see you." I said hugging Jake.

"Are you ready?" Jake asked me. I nodded and walked out with Jake.

We got to the restaurant and it was sushi. My favorite. "Jake I love this place." I said smiling.

"I know." He said opening the door for me.

When we got to the table Jake pulled the chair out for me. "Thanks Jakey-Jake." I felt really embarrassed.

"Tess, it's okay this is why we are talking our situation is confusing."

"It is. The truth is I want to move back into the house."

"Are you sure?"

"I am so sure it's not the same at Logan's all I do is stay in the house. I know you don't want to date right now but I can deal with that. I thought it would be better if we were friends rather than it having you at all."

"Ok than I will help you settle down in the house you can have your room back too. I made sure no one moved in it I knew you would come back."

"Jake?"

"Yeah?"

"What are we?"

"Well-we're what do you want us to be?"

"I want us to be together but-"

"Me too."

I smiled. Everything was right in the world again.

When we finished dinner I was so tired. We were really far from Logan's.

"Jake, can I sleep at the team 10 house tonight?" I asked in a quiet voice.

"Yeah of course." He said. I could tell he was happy.

"If the fans ask I was with my family." He asked no questions and just kept on driving.

I fell asleep and woke up to Jake carrying me in the house.

"Jakey?" I whispered.

"Shh go back to sleep." He carried me into my room than touched me in.

"Wait Jake." I said.

He turned around and looked at me, "Lay with me I haven't seen you in forever." He asked no questions and laid with me. His cologne was such a soothing sent that let me feel right.
