Chapter 25

I woke up to Logan getting up slowly but careful not to wake me up.

"Oh good morning Tessa." He whispered.

I smiled than got up and decided to make some breakfast.

"How do you like your eggs and bacon?" I asked in my croaking morning voice.

"How ever you make them." He said as he walked to his room.

I finished cooking and put the food on the table.

"I don't remember the last time I used a dining table." I joked.

"So what are you doing today?" Logan asked me.

"I have no idea. I might just go to the gym or something." I said.

"How bout we go together?" Logan asked. I nodded.

I knew I was going to like living here for the time being.

I got ready for the gym in my room. I changed into a pair of black leggings and a cropped sweatshirt than put on my sneakers and left with Logan.

We worked out than went to go and get smoothies. I got a green smoothie and Logan got a protein smoothie.

I took out my credit card ready to pay than Logan said, "Tessa I got this."

"I can pay." I said. I usually did not like it when people pay for my things but I knew I would not win so I put my card away. "Thank you Logan." I said.

"You don't need to thank me it was only a smoothie." He said.

"No for everything. Jake is lucky to have you as a brother." I said Lightly touching his shoulder.

Later that night we ate chicken that I made. And it was actually pretty good. After dinner I cleaned up the apartment because it was not the cleanest.

"Tessa what are you doing?" Logan asked me crossing his arms.

"Cleaning." I said continuing to clean.

"I can hire maids you know."

"I know."

"I'm going to bed want anything?"

"No thanks I think I'm just going to clean than go to bed. Good night." I said hugging him.

"Good night." He said pulling away.

As I was cleaning I heard a knock at the door. I than walked over and opened the door.

"Tessa?" Jake said. I was so confused.

"Umm. Why are you here?" I asked awkwardly.

"I could ask the same thing, Tess." He said walking closer to me.

"Come in I guess. Does Logan know you are here?" I said opening the door wider.

"Well I was coming over for a video idea."

"I'll get him." I walked into Logan's room and woke him up. "Logan, Logan." I whispered "Logan Jakes here." As soon as he heard that he jumped up.

"What do you mean Jake is here?" Logan asked finding a shirt.

"He is in the living room right now. He said it's for video ideas." I said.

Logan than started to talk to Jake but I went into my room. I shut the door than turned on some Netflix and went to sleep.

"Jake why are you here?" Logan said in a stern voice.

"I wanted to see Tessa. I miss her so much." Jake said.

"Well she is here now. Want to know why? It's so she can get away from you!" Logan said. Logan was starting to develop feelings for Tessa and he did not want her to leave.

"I didn't want to fuck up this relationship like I did with Alissa. That's why I broke up with her. Why do you care?" Jake said.

"Because man Tessa is different from Alissa. She is more sensitive and has been through a lot more than her. It's like you want to ruin everything good in your life Jake!" Logan yelled at Jake defensively.

"I want her back man. Is it that hard." Jake said calmly.

"That is if she wants you back." Logan said walking to his room. Jake than left he than regretted everything that has happened.
