It has been a couple days since Jake came to Logans house. I was starting to miss the team 10 house. I than decided to text Jake.

Me:

Hey.

Jake🔟❤️:

Hey Tessa! What's up?

Me:

Can we talk.

Jake🔟❤️:

Yeah sure. How about over dinner tonight?

Me:

Sounds nice. What time?

Jake🔟❤️:

How about 8?

Me:

Yeah see yah then.

I missed Jake so much. I decided it was better to have Jake as a friend than not have him at all.

I texted than texted Erika.

Me:

Heyyy!

Rik🤰🏻🤙🏻:

Hey T. What's up?

Me:

Wanna go shopping?

Rik🤰🏻🤙🏻:

Yeah. Why are we going shopping?

Me:

I'm seeing Jake tonight I'll tell you more later.

Rik🤰🏻🤙🏻:

Ok. Is 12 good?

Me:

Yup see yah than.

"Hey who are you texting?" Logan said sitting next to me on the couch.

"Rik." I said smiling.

"Why are you so happy?" He said poking me to make me laugh.

"I'm getting to see my best friend that I have not seen in forever. Oh and I'm going out at 8." I said casually slipping that in. He stopped poking me.

"Where are you going?" He asked trying to hide behind a smile.

"To eat..... with Jake." I said quietly.

"Tess,"

"No it's okay I asked him. I need to talk with him."

He agreed than left.

I than got ready for Erika to come over. I than heard my phone go off.

Rik🤰🏻🤙🏻:

Can you come down to let me in?

Me:

On my way.

I was excited to see Erika. When I went down I saw Erika we both ran and hugged each other.

"I missed you T!" Erika said hugging me tightly.

"I missed you too Rik." I said holding back tears.

"You look great. Are you ready to go?" Erika said I nodded and we walked arm in arm.

We got into an uber than drove to the mall. We went into this dress store than I saw this black sleeveless dress it was gorgeous.

"Her Rik do you like this?" I said pointing to it.

"Oh my gosh that's so you. You have to get it. Come on." She said pulling my arm in the store.

I tried on the dress and I loved it. I bought the dress than decided to go back to Logan's place with Erika.

"Wow his place is nice." Erika said walking in Logan's house. "Does he know your going out with Jake?"

"Yeah." I said. Than Logan walked through the door.

"Oh hey Tess." He said hugging me. "Did you have fun?" He asked.

"Yeah look at the dress I got for tonight." I got the dress out the bag and held it up to my body.

"Wow that's nice. I um going to the gym see yah!" He said going out the door.

"Kay see yah later!" I yelled to him.

"He likes you." Erika said.

"What no! We're just friends." I said defensively.

"Okay." She said rolling her eyes.

"Oh it's 7 I have to get ready."

"I'll help."

Erika helped me do my hair and make up. When I put on my dress it made me so happy.

"You look beautiful T." Erika said.

"Thanks. For everything." I hugged her.

Than I heard a knock.

"Hey Tessa. You look beautiful." Jake said. I smiled, I was happy.
