Chapter 23

It's been a couple of weeks since me and Jake "took a break" and everyone in the house knew. It has been a little weird not having Jake to talk to but I have Erika. I have been with her all of the time.

"Hey Tess!" Chance said walking up to me holding a camera.

"Yo! Are you going to prank me?" I said laughing.

"No I'm not going to prank you. Me and Anthony are vloging." Chance said.

"Oh cool! Can I be in it?" I asked.

"Well your kinda already in it." He said.

"I'm going to go now. Rik!" I yelled.

"Yeah Tess!" Erika yelled.

"Are you ready?" I yelled and I saw Jake coming out of his room, "I'll be in the car!" I yelled to Erika.

"Tessa wait!" Jake said running towards me.

This is the first time Jake talked to me in weeks. I turned around giving him the okay to talk.

"How are you?" He asked

"Oh hey Rik ready? Yes you are!" I than got in the car with Erika on the passengers side leaving Jake without an answer.

"What was that about?" Erika asked me.

"Nothing just he asked how I was." I said.

"And..." Erika said. She has been pushing me to talk to him but I refused.

"I said nothing and used you as an excuse. I can't talk to him, not now." The rest of the ride was quiet.

We finally got to the trail which was a mountain and when we got to the top we took pictures. "Ohh work it girl!" I told Erika. She just laughed.

When I got to the house I was alone because I dropped Erika off at a photo shoot.

I got into the house to see Chance and Anthony with handcuffs and their camera.

"Hey guys?" I said unsure what to expect.

"Hey wanna play a game?" Anthony asked coming closer to me with the hand cuffs.

"Do I? You guys are acting sus." I said laughing. "What do you do in this game?" I asked.

"Okay now we are all going to be handcuffed together for an hour or something and we are going to do a bunch of things." Chance explained.

"Okay that sounds dope." I said. They all screamed in joy than handcuffed me and Chance. "Wait what about Anthony?" I asked.

"Yah, um he's not doing it. #chessa!" Chance said. All I could do is laugh.

So we have been handcuffed for about 30 minutes doing challenges and we lost the key.

"Yo Jake do you know where the key is?" Chance asked Jake.

"Oh. My. God. Is this chessa?" Jake said laughing. "I ship it." Jake said with his camera. I felt heartbroken.

"No but have to go pee and I can't if Chance is with me." I said. I was just making an excuse.

An hour later we were still handcuffed laying on the couch on our phones. I went to get up forgetting I was handcuffed to Chance and fell down when I got up. All I could do was laugh.

"Tessa what were you doing?" Chance said laughing.

"I was going to get a drink." I said he than helped me up and got a drink.

"Hey guys I found the key!" Jake said yelling from upstairs.

"Aww I was just starting to like this." Chance said.

Jake than helped us get uncuffed and I rubbed my wrist and ran to the bathroom to go take a pee that I desperately needed.

When I got out of the bathroom Jake was there waiting.

"Hey." Jake said.

"Hey. Is everything okay?" I asked.

"Well I wanted to ask you if you and Chance were a thing." Jake said.

"Why would that matter to you we aren't together anymore remember."

He than walked away not saying a word.

Later that night I decided to sleep in my room for once. I got all tucked in than heard a knock at the door. I got up than opened it.

"Hey Chance." I said.

"Tessa I need to tell you something." He seemed rushed.

"What?" I asked.

Than he just kissed me. "Chance! I'm in love with Jake. Get out!" I yelled.

"But-" Chance said.

"Get out!" I than pushed him out and saw Jake staring at me, confused.

Chance ran to his room and I just sat on my bed crying in my hands. Jake than came into my room.

"What happened Tess?" Jake said walking towards me.

"I'm a horrible person." I said sobbing.

"No your not. You are an amazing person at least I'm my eyes." Jake said sitting next to me rubbing my back.

"Chance kissed me." I sobbed.

"What's wrong with that? I thought you liked him." Jake said standing up probably feeling awkward.

"No I don't I like you! I always liked you! Chance is like my brother! I don't kiss a brother!" I said very relived but shocked I said that to Jake.

"I think you should get some rest." I laid down and than felt Jakes lips kiss the top of my head. "Night Tess." He said whispering than shutting my door closed.
