3rd Person's POV
"Look what we got here. Not only the legendary X gang's leader is an otaku, it seems like he's also in love. Pathetic but interesting." A guy with blue highlights and an eye patch on his left side said while he's reading a report from his subordinates.
"Who is the lucky lady?" He smirked, as he placed his elbow on the arm chair and gave a playful look.
"Rachael Ann Phill. It seems like she's just a normal girl base on the information we've gathered." One of his subordinates said.
"Normal? C'mon Slay, don't let the devil deceive you. That girl couldn't get all of the X's higher officials interest if she's normal." He rolled his eyes and tossed the papers he was holding on Slay's face.
"Let's pay them a visit, shall we?"
Rachael's POV
OMG~
This is A.W.K.W.A.R.D.
"Ahm, c-can you pass the ketchup?"
All of them looked at each other, and at the same time reached for the bottle of ketchup.
"A-ah! N-no, it's okay! Please d-don't mind of it! I-I don't need the ketchup anymore!" I wave them off. For Peet's sake! Why is it so intense?!
Me and the five of them, here at the secret garden having lunch. Thanks to Gave abandoning me earlier, I end up coming to school without sorting things out with my decision. Resulting this intense display of affection. I can't even eat properly! I feel like every time I swallow my food, they would all be hearing it because of this ear shattering silence.
"A-ah! I f-forgot something earlier. I'll j-just go and get it now." I excused, but before I walk away, Bryle grabbed my hand and made me turn back to him. "I'll go instead." He plastered a charming bright smile which made me gulp, "N-no thanks. I can manage." Before he would insist his gratitude more, I walked away in a quick pace and finally got out of that maze.
"Now, where am I going? I just told them I left something to escape that intense atmosphere." I sigh as I walk the empty hallway, each step I take echoes through the walls. All of the students are at the cafeteria, having lunch, so most of the hallways and rooms are empty. Good. The last thing I wanna hear are those brats and their sh*ty lifestyle.
"Ow~!" I fell on my butt as something hard collide with me.
"Oh my! I'm so sorry miss. Are you alright?" A male's voice echoed. That voice, it sounds familiar. I looked at the hand offered to my face, then up to his face.
"Fatty-Pat?!" My surprised voice filled the hallway, at the same time the bell rang, signaling the students that lunch is over.
"Seriously? Even with this body, you're still gonna address me with that old nickname?" He smile cheekily then helped me stood up. I was still in awe that I didn't even notice the students around us. "Do you mind saying something? People are starting to stare." He commented.
I was finally back from my daze when he snapped a finger on my face, "Sorry. It's just-I can't believe my eyes! Patruce Starland? Is it really you?" I was squishing and pinching his face, feelings if this being in front of me is real.
He grabbed my wrists, "Yes. This is me, and I'm very much real. I assure you." He smiled. A smile that melted the thick icebergs in North Pole, a smile that has all of the worlds butterfly species and stuck them in my stomach, a smile that made my heart jump to the heavens.
"W-why are you here? The last time I saw you was back in 2nd grade, not to mention it was the first day of school. I was really looking forward to it 'cause I could see you again, but instead of playing with you, you only told me that I should forget you." I pout. Remembering the past really pisses me off.
