PHOENIX POV

Aunt Leah woke me up when she barged into the room carrying a huge bag filled with beef. She had a huge grin on her face and carried the bag like it was some type of trophy.

I rubbed my eyes, "What the heck?"

She threw the bag of beef into the freezer, "I'm going to bring all this home to your parents." She tried to push the freezer door close, but there was too much beef.

But home, parents. I forgot.

Korea was such a dream, I still couldn't believe I was there. Especially with him.

I had about two more weeks before we had to go home. I didn't want to go home, I didn't even want to think about going home. I didn't want to think about being away from Jungkook again. The constant feelings of emptiness and longing.

But I couldn't let that get to me, I had to be grateful that I was even in Korea, that I was even given the chance to know Jungkook.

I thought about his stressed face again. It hurt me to see him in such a bad condition. I wanted him to explain to me what happened, but he didn't want to. And that was okay, I didn't want him to feel obligated to tell me everything about himself.

I just wanted to be able to see him laughing and smiling. His happiness always spread to me. I wondered if he was affected the same way with me.

I snapped out of my thoughts when Aunt Leah started talking, "We need to leave in 30 minutes. Sejin is already driving the boys there."

Was Jungkook going? I hoped he was. He looked like he needed to step out and relax a bit. I was able to get a little smile out of him, when I drove him back to the dorms. Maybe he just needed time.

I texted Jungkook,

"Are you going to the restaurant with the boys?"

He responded 3 minutes later with,

"Are you?"

Goodness, this boy.

"Of course, the waiters are sooo hot."

He replied in less than a second this time,

"I'm going"

The restaurant was beautiful as always. The ceiling was still as mesmerizing as before.

Aunt Leah and I got to the restaurant first, there was almost no one there besides a small family of four. Odd, considering how packed it was last time.

I looked at the intricate wall designs and noticed something I didn't notice before. Kwon Min Hyuk's family photo.

He was the only son. Which was so strange, I could've sworn he said his brother painted the ceiling.

The picture showed him standing behind his mother and father who were sitting in front of him on a cushioned bench. It was the stereotypical rich family photo.

I couldn't help but notice how young his mother looked. She looked, well... Seoyoon's age. He shared many traits with her, the shiny black hair, the wide eyes and thin nose.

The only thing he seemed to share in common with his father was being a man. That was it.

I stared at the picture more and noticed small things like the flower patch the men had sewn to the right of their blazers. It was just so fun to find details.

"It's safe to say that you like staring at pictures, right?" I turned to see Min Hyuk standing behind me, again.

Aunt Leah looked at me questioningly. I just shrugged.
