PHOENIX POV
I grabbed dry clothes to change into while while Jungkook was sitting in the bedroom watching TV.
The fleece pajama pants I had on weren't exactly the most flattering pants I had, but I could really care less. I was freezing.
He was laid on the bed I was supposed to sleep on, his hat was laying on the floor. What a guy. It had been 15 minutes and the room already looked messy. His bag of chips was on the bed as well.
I cleared my throat to make my presence known. He glanced up at me and raised an eyebrow, acknowledging me, then put his attention back on to the TV.
Jungkook was laying chest down on the bed, his black t-shirt slightly riding up. I could see the faint outline of his skin.
God he was hot.
But I shook off my crazy thoughts and sat on Aunt Leah's bed. "What show is that?" It was a funny looking show with random guys touching unknown animals in boxes.
Jungkook shrugged, "I don't know. My brother used to watch stuff like this all the time."
Whenever I did research on his family, there were never really any photos. He had some pictures of himself and his brother, but that was it.
I knew his brother was two years older, but I didn't want to look crazy so I asked, "So how old is your brother?"
He rolled on the bed so that his back was on it. "22 years old."
"Oh he's Taehyung's age!" His brother was actually pretty young, I'd never seen a clear and recent picture of him but I was sure he must've been just as good looking as Jungkook.
Jungkook instantly sat up, "What is Taehyung to you?"
That took me by surprise. Gosh why did he always get so butt hurt when V was mentioned in anything.
"He's my precious friend." V was. I cared about him, and he seemed to care for me.
Jungkook turned to look at me,"I thought I was your precious friend?"
I laughed, he looked so genuinely confused. "You're one of them. And You know people can have more than one good friend, right?"
"It's not that... I mean, uh, I just thought um...you know...I was different." He sounded awkward. That was new. Jungkook was never awkward, well around me at least.
I raised an eyebrow, "Why? Am I different to you?"
He shook his head furiously, "No, it's just I've never met anyone like you."
I loved that feeling. I loved it when he said I made him feel a certain way. I loved it when he said I was different. It made me feel like I had a chance. It made me think he might've actually been...falling for me.
"Is that a good thing or a bad thing?" I pushed on. I really wanted to get a good talk with him.
Jungkook turned, facing me. His feet were on the floor and he was sitting directly in front of me. Our knees almost touching. "I don't know. You tell me."
I was blushing. He was looking at me so... so fondly. His eyes were so soft, and he had a slight smile. Not the playboy smirk, the most genuine smile I had ever seen from him.
Not going to lie, I wanted to stare back at him for the rest of the night but I couldn't. I wanted to know more.
I kicked my legs up so that I was laying on the bed. "So. Tell me about her."
