Time Won't Be Enough

Frank stood up grinning wildly and let the wind run through his hair, letting adrenaline run wild through his veins as Leena drove her small convertable to their next destination. He put his fists up and screamed at the passing cars on the freeway.

"We just fucking did that!" He looked down at Leena, who was also grinning. "We just fucking did that. Leena, if I wasn't gay, I'd kiss you right now." She giggled.

"Same here." Frank looked down, his mouth growing wide in shock.

"Wait, you're gay?" He asked, met with soft giggles and a weak nod. His grin returned as he began yelling again.

"Fuck yeah we're gay!" They both laughed until they were gasping for air, which probably wasn't good with Leena driving and all.

When they got to Gee and Pete's house, Leena told Frank not to say anything until she told him to. She tried the door and fortunately, it was unlocked. Gerard's joyful voice ran through the house.

"Pete?!" He asked. Leena frowned.

"No, it's just me. But I brought someone with me." She answered back, anxious. Gee came downstairs in a black jacket, black jeans, and a sheriff's badge. Frank noticed that his teal roots had either been dyed again, or grown out. Either way, he looked really hot. Gee noticed that Frank's hair was dyed black again, but grown out a bit and parted a little to the side. Leena pulled them out of their little trance as Leena groaned. "Not this again. Do you want me to call you sheriff this time?" It took Gerard a bit to answer, not realizing he was being spoken to for a bit, looking over at Leena.

"Yes. Call me Sheriff Gerard of Emo Town." Frank giggled and it made Gerard's heart flutter. He shook it off quickly though. "Wanna sit on the couch?" He asked kindly.

"So when's the wedding?" Leena asked. Frank winced slightly, remembering that Gee was engaged to someone else. Gerard shrugged. Frank knew, judging by the size of the house, that Pete had a lot of money. That would also mean that he would try and make the wedding as soon as possible.

"Hmm. Today's Saturday so...Thursday?" He shrugged again. Leena and Frank looked at each other and Leena's lips formed a hard line.

"Invitations have gone out, right? I already got mine." Gee nodded.

"Um, can we talk about the elephant in the room? Why is Frank here?"

"Hey, are you calling me an elephant?" Frank asked in fake shock and Gerard giggled, but was silenced at Leena's usually playful eyes becoming dark.

"Gerard, we have something to tell you." She took a deep breath. "Pete has been cheating on you. With Mikey."

"My...my brother?" Leena nodded. He then turned to Frank and caressed his cheek with a small smile. He then did something none of them expected. Gerard leaned in and kissed Frank on the lips. It was electrifying, just like the first time they kissed. It felt right for both of them. Gerard pulled away quickly.

"Frank, I love you." Frank's eyes lit up with joy, but before he could say anything, Gee cut him off.

"But I'm in love with Pete. I'm sorry, but I don't believe you. This isn't the way to try and get me back. Telling me my husband to be is cheating on me with my brother is low." In Gerard's head, everything was fine. But his heart was begging him to just kiss Frank again. He needed those pink, soft lips all over his body, just like it used to be. But he couldn't. Frank grabbed Leena's bag, but Leena stopped him with a look that said 'this is part of the plan'. Frank looked back at Gerard with those eyes.

Those fucking eyes.

He couldn't help but crash his lips onto Frank's. They were kissing through the lies. Kissing through the pain. Kissing through all the time they lost.

Suddenly, they were kissing through the fence again.

Suddenly, Gerard pulled away.

"Frank Iero, I'm gonna need you to get out of my house before I fall in love with you again."

And with that, they were off again.

"What now? Wait...why are we here again?" Frank asked. Leena shushed me as she made a call, her eyes glued to the front door of Mikey's house. Soon enough, he came out and Leena shooed me out of the passenger seat.

"Where are we going?" The tall, skinny boy asked.

"Out." Leena simply answered, and started the car. She took them to a small coffee shop downtown. As soon as we were all ordered (to avoid distraction), she started talking.

"Mikey, Pete isn't everything you say he is. There are some things...important things...that he hasn't told you." She pulled out her phone and a picture text that Gerard sent her popped up on the screen. The picture was Pete and Gerard holding hands, showing off their engagement rings. Frank just then noticed the stark contrast between the two. Pete's tan skin and Gerard's porcelain skin. Gee's small, delicate hands, and Pete's rough, bigger hands. Gerard's big, round hazel-green doe eyes like green orbs, and Pete's smaller, brown eyes. Leena handed Mikey her phone.

"If you couldn't tell, Pete's engaged. To Gerard." Mikey's pale hazel eyes got wide. He knew something was up with Pete lately.

"So wait...what are we doing about this?" Mikey looked at both of them, searching for answers, Leena grinning.

"Dust off your suits, boys. We've got a wedding to crash."
