"She's hurt!" Hope exclaimed, whimpering at Lynn's side.
Giselle held out her hand and a small pink tablet appeared in her hand. She opened Lynn's mouth and popped the pill in, washing it down with some water that came from her hand using magic.
Midnight appeared from the forest, running in human form. She wasn't due to change in a few days.
"I made sure the Sprites chased them out. Hope's coming back with Stella." She turned towards Giselle, who looked worried but hopeful. "She's okay," assured Midnight, and Giselle let out a sigh of relief.
Giselle moved on, clearing her throat. "Since Daniel hurt Kyle a lot with his magic, he'll heal in... half an hour or so." She placed her hand over Kyle's heart, who's owner was still unconscious. "However," her gaze moved toward Lynn, who was unconscious as well, "this lady won't wake for three hours or so."
Everyone gasped. Usually, magic could heal terrible injuries in ten minutes. So for something to take three hours must be bad.
The group had stayed with the two, camping out on the forest floor. Giselle stood by Kyle and Nicole and Calvin were healing Lynn.
All of the sudden, Nicole looked up. She could hear footsteps of many people, running footsteps.
Nicole was right. Just after Nicole explained what she had seen and started running, everyone else followed because they were being invaded.
Daniel's pack of werewolves were running in their strange wolf form, chasing out everyone, even Kyle, who was still half asleep. The group left Lynn against the tree.
However, Lynn's body was hid behind the trunk and no one noticed her. The friends screamed as they ran for their lives from the wolves.
Somewhat behind his friends, Daniel appeared from where the werewolves had come from. He looked around, making sure no one was there.
Since he remembered where he had struck the girl, Daniel made his way to where Lynn was, walking slowly as if creeping up on a sleeping dragon.
Lynn had two more hours until she would wake.
Daniel sighed sadly. "I'm sorry, Lynn. Don't worry, when you wake, I shall take you to marry me, just like my mother wanted."
Right when Daniel was about to wake Lynn, he stopped. He knew that if he woke her (using werewolf magic) now, she'd try to kill him again.
So Daniel did the next best thing. Raising his left hand to her head, he waved it slowly back and forth, the air near the palm blurring. He took a foggy yellow gas from her brain - her memory.
Daniel pulled out a vial from his coat pocket and opened it. The yellow fog slowly moved into it, and Daniel popped the cork back on, placing it carefully back in his pocket. If the vial was ever opened again, her memory would return.
Just then, Daniel's friends returned.
"Come on, man! Let's go back!" called one named Arthur. Two others slapped their leader on the back, taking him back to their lair.
To the present time, Daniel still has this vial. He keeps it somewhere no one will ever find it...
