In short, I found out these facts from Kyle:

The first thing he told me was that Daniel was using the battle as a distraction so that while my friends were battling, he was going to take me to his home, which no one knew where it was but him. He was going to explain everything there.

The second was that Kyle had been tortured from the freaky Jester, who's name was Jack. Kyle hadn't said anything, and that made me relieved. Kyle said that Jack had asked him things like where we were hiding and who was going to be in the battle.

The third thing Kyle told me was that he knew what was going to be in Daniel's army: 12 Dark Demons, 6 Shadow Demons, 4 Red Demons, 5 Sirens, 3 Jesters, 3 Clowns, 5 Dragons, 1 Chimera, 2 Leprechauns, and 3 Griffons.

And the final part Kyle told me was that half of the army was at Fireheart Rock, a place not too far away from Dragon Rock. Fireheart Rock has many volcanoes and mountains for the Dragons and Demons.

In the middle of the night, since I looked at the device on Nicole's neck, I woke up with a strange thirst to be outside of the caves.

I needed to take a midnight stroll.

And so I did. Exiting the cave as quiet as possible, I headed off straight ahead so I wouldn't get lost in the woods.

Nighttime was my favorite time. It was quiet and the forest had a peaceful stillness and mystery, which was why it was so hard to avoid.

But tonight I couldn't resist. Walking past a few trees close together, I saw a stream forming near a small waterfall. There were rocks around the waterfall so smooth I swore they were fake.

Suddenly, a head covered in beautiful red hair popped out of the water. Immediately I recognized this creature once its full body lay on one of the rocks - a Siren.

I ducked behind the group of trees, knowing she couldn't possibly see me. Sirens were evil creatures like Mermaids, but had feet instead of tails. They also were extremely pretty and had voiced like angels.

This certain Siren looked familiar. Her hair looked unnatural, like she had dyed it. Normally red hair was more of an orange, but this was pure red.

Suddenly, even though her back was facing me, she giggled madly and cackled, "I'm going to kill you!"

I gasped quietly, trying not to scream.

She whipped around to reveal a breathtaking face. For a second I was lost in her beauty, but then remembered what she had just said to me. Her skin was pale and she had eyes the color of the sky on a summer day. The shade of blue was so light I couldn't take staring at them for more than a second. My eyes lowered to her dress, which was white and looked damp, shadowed from the night. It was thin on her; if she twirled in circles it would stay clinging to her. The rest of her body was bare with the exception of a pretty anklet composed of light blue and white shells.

After the very few seconds I was able to look at her, she took a few steps forward, flipping her damp hair.

"No, no... I cannot kill you. Daniel must be there." She stopped a foot away from me. "And besides," she whispered, eyes bulging, "this with be more... fun!"

Before I could stop her, a silver staff appeared in her left hand from thin air. She held the staff and stood tall, a thin smile placed on her lips. She closed her eyes and raised the staff. Just a second later, she slammed the bottom of the staff quick against the hard surface of the rock we stood on.

I saw darkness, yet I knew my eyes weren't closed. Where before I saw the forest and the waterfall, a bedroom appeared in front of me. The bedroom looked like a little girl lived there. The walls were pink and stuffed animals were tucked in the corners. Yet, to my surprise, I saw Giselle sleeping in the small bed, inhaling and exhaling silently.

What I saw next made my blood turn to ice. A young woman popped out from underneath the bed with a sword. Quietly, the person raised the sword and plummeted its tip into Giselle's long, thin neck.

I was screaming. Or, at least I thought I was. No sound came from my mouth. Did I even have a mouth? I tried to touch my face, the one I wasn't aware of, but there were no arms to move. I wasn't even sure I had a body. I couldn't eve feel my heart beat.

The image changed before my eyes, the old one fading away like a puddle on a hot summer day. The girl that killed Giselle was strapping down Stella onto a table. When the last limb had been tied down, the girl dug long fingernails into Stella's eyes. Stella's shrieks filled my head, that is if I even had a head!

Finally, a third image came. I do not wish to describe it. All I will say is that the girl was skinning Kyle, who lay unconscious on the ground.

When I woke up, I was on the rock by the stream. It was still dark out, but the moon had moved from the top of the sky to a point that it was close to the horizon.

I stood and, still traumatized by the gruesome images, hobbled over to the stream that the water from the waterfall fell into.

I gasped.

In the reflection of the stream was the girl.

The girl from the images...r
