"Sh!t," the guy said when he heard Joseph's voice call my name.

I heard the guy walked away from the kitchen.

Meaning he was going to the door.

Oh no. What is he going to do Joseph?

I have to do something.

I got out of the cupboard and crawled behind the island.

I peeped to the side and saw the man looking through the peephole.

I heard Joseph call my name again and knocked the door even harder.

The man huffed and said, "She's busy."

What? What is he doing?

"Who are you?" Joseph asked sounding angry and curious.

"Who am I? Who am I? " the guy said and then laughed.

Is he stalling?

"Yeah who are you?" Joseph asked again.

"I'm her boyfriend!" the man said smirking looking in my direction.

I pulled back my head and hid further behind the island.

He saw me.

"Her boyfriend? Belle didn't tell me she had a boyfriend," Joseph said sounding hurt and angry.

Wow. Perfect combination for him to stay mad at you for the rest of your life Belle.

"Well it looks like she doesn't tell you everything now Joseph, does she? Naughty little girl," he said.

Wait. How does he know Joseph's name?

"But she told me that she-" he said then the guy interrupted.

"That what? She liked you?" he said and laughed.

I swear I'm going to kill this guy when Joseph's gone.

Joseph was silent and I didn't know whether he was gone or not.

"Where's Belle?" Joseph finally asked.

"She's in the shower. You interrupted our little heated session in there and now she's going to be very angry at you," the guy said.

I gritted my teeth.

I'm going to kill this guy.

I swear!

Joseph went silent again and this time I was sure that he had left.

I peeked out back and didn't see the guy at the door.

Where's he?

I turned around and he wasn't next to me like how those horror movies go.

Where the hell is he?

I stood up cautiously and looked around in the kitchen with the knife in my hand.

No sign of him in here.

I walked slowly trying to not make a sound and looked in the living room and he wasn't there.

I walked upstairs and looked in my brother's room and he wasn't there.

Okay. Two places left.

The balcony or my room.

I think he'll be in my room.

I went into my room and looked but he wasn't there.

Okay. So it's the balcony left.
